I'm a bit late getting rolling on my 2012 cards this year - I wonder if it's because I still have my Christmas 2011 tree up? hmmmm
anyways, here's my ten cards for January! I used the January 2012 SFYTT for the layout, Basic Grey Jovial papers and a cute set of four polar bear images by Sunshine Designs from the Stamp Barn.
As usual, I keep all ten cards looking a little different by mixing up the images and the papers.

I think this is the most wonderful idea on SCS! Love making Christmas cards all year round. I have 8 done, 80 to go. (I signed up for 8 a month.) My friend, in WA, is playing along without uploading her cards. She makes 5 each month, gives me one and I give her one of mine. It's been really good for us: keeps in touch and talking about Christmas cards throughout the year. We did it last year and it was a huge success for her. I must say I benefitted from her lovely cards, too.
Well, what with all the challenges in December when I made cards I didn't need, I had 4 out of 5 already in my shoebox, and the one I've made today brings me to my total of 5.

I was reading about your christmas challenges and was wondering if I could join. The only other challenges I have done before is the card sketch ones and I enjoy doing them. I have only been stamping for about 3 years and have taught myself how to do it with the help of my mom. she is a su demonstator but lives in florida and I live in tenn. my email is [email protected].

Thank you! It is just a little branch with leaves on it punch - not a Christmas or pine punch but once it's in a circle with red gems, it looks Christmassy .

Yay! I finished my 10 cards for January! I didn't even manage to make 10 Christmas cards in the whole of last year, so I'm feeling pretty good right now
