These are adorable - and I always admire House Mouse cards because they take so long to color! I have a whole drawer full of HM stamps, but they seldom see ink!

Whoops, that last post was supposed to be in the gallery under Sadiejane's house mouse cards for this month - can't figure out how to delete it from this thread! Guess I've been flipping back and forth between this thread and the gallery too fast, lol!

So this was my last entry into the DTGD challenges. Many of those challenges did not allow me to incorporate Christmas into them, so I didn't get as many done as I would have liked...
BUT, I did get a whole bunch of gift cards to Michael's for my birthday, so now I have some new stuff to play with, including a HUGE christmas paper pad AND new sparkly embossing powder.
Here are my cards for the August CCC11. I made ten cards from four different designs. The thread-work was not as bad as I expected it to be. I did all of that in one night!
TFL :O)

Very pretty. I've been debating trying some card embroidery. This might help me make the jump :-)

Trying to figure out how to link to my gallery. The photos are in my gallary, but don't know how to link at this time. Any help would be appreciated!
Here are the simple directions I used when I first started linking to my gallery:
Need help linking a card? Follow these instructions!
1. Open 2 windows: One window for your card and one for this thread.
2. In this thread, click on reply and type anything you want to show before the link.
3. Go to your card window. Highlight the address for your card. (It says www. splitcoaststampers.com/gallery/photo..... and so on)
4. Click EDIT. Click COPY
5. Go back to this thread. Click PASTE.
You're done!

Hi Selena! Welcome aboard! Everyone is very encouraging and supportie here. Be sure to pop over to the main thread here to post how many you think you will need to make each month.
I make more than one at a time, assembly line style, but photograph one if it can make an impression alone ore the lot of them if they are in a set, slightly diff or plain. Hope you like them.
I made this card for the FS237 challenge and decided to put it in this month's gallery as well. Will be adding more before the end of the month but for now thanks for looking.
Finally got my August cards done. I'm not happy with them. They started out to be OSW. I had the paper cut out for months and finally decided to use them. I was also trying to use up the last of the old retired SU colors. I'm sure it's the color combo that I'm not happy about.
I made the vertical one for the last VSN and then realized a couple of days later the dp I used had a definite direction to it! I made 5 horizontal ones for this month. I also added the black dew drops and the glitter gel pen on the wings and halo afterwards. Just looked like it needed a bit more...
Can't believe I am up to August already, the ideas just seem to be flowing right now!

Internet had issues last time I was home, then yesterday my keyboard died.
I found a junk one in the closet.... it works, but I HATE IT!
I really have to push the keys down and the space bar keeps getting stuck down.
I think I got around to comment on at least one card from all the posts so far this month. Everyone is doing a great job with all their cards. I love looking at them.

YAY - I have my August cards finished and uploaded. I love this challenge, and am so proud to have been on time for each month.

I will try to get around to everyone later this week - I'm on the fly right now.
