I finished two more cards earlier today... I'm sitting here at my computer with the music turned way down low. About an hour ago my oldest daughter who has cerebral palsy, had a seizure.. she is resting now, but I have an ear out in case it happens again.
Checking in quick while my net is working.
It's been wonky with this weather.
I will go to galleries next.
I am far from in a good mood. my BIL passed away last Sunday. I couldn't be with my sister, or at the funeral (darn gas prices!) My sister is 16 yrs older than me and they raised me for a few years in my early teens.
On Wednesday night Clint had a heart attack and i am just no dealing well with that!
All is okay here, Clint and the new kitty are sitting in the chair watching TV and have been all day.
I'll try to get in more of a festive Christmassy mood tomorrow! LOL

Please sign me up for April. Having troubles with my camera and hoping to do some uploads and catch up from the last couple months. When the stress builds the Mojo just isn't anywhere to be seen....bummer!
Take care Vikki, my deepest sympathies for the loss of your BIL. I'm sure it's toughest when you can't go to see your family during this difficult time.

So true! What part of the PNW are you in, Martha?
eta.... Am I imagining this, or didn't your location say Pacific Northwest 30 seconds ago? I just may be losing my mind...if you see it, send it home....

Nope, you saw correctly. I just changed a few things on the profile.
I'm in Bellingham, born and raised. What city are you in?
I am working my way backwards, lol! I finished five cards today for April and have the pics to upload later for January, Feb and March cards. Then I am all caught up, yeah!! What a busy first three months of the year this has been!

My sister called me yesterday to thank me for the car, and apologize for not calling sooner! Is she kidding! Holy buckets she's had enough to think about.

Oops, sorry to take so long to reply...I've been chasing kids and working.... I'm down by Puyallup/Auburn. Do you know Crafty Julia? She's up in your neck of the woods....
Here is my card for April - I made 4 of these. I think this image is so cute - the stamp was a Christmas present from my mom.
It's nice to have some time to create Christmas cards instead of panicking at the last minute! Off to check out the rest of the April cards for inspiration for next month...

Hey Vikkijo, Thoughts and prayers are with you and your family! Hope that Clint is doing well, that is a really tough week!
I finally finished my April CCC11 cards. Thanks again to Vikkijo for keeping this challenge going. My poor old, just about to expire computer is being agreeable so I will get this one into the gallery. It just seems to have strange days - must be a male computer
I am so glad I have my cards done through June. Haven't had time to work on Christmas cards all month. Need to catch up on birthdays, anniversaries and graduation next for next month.
I've been playing along every week with Sparkle's Christmas Card Challenge Blog and have been finding it a great way to come up with a varied assortment of cards for THIS challenge and to stay on schedule!
Hope you are all having a great crafty day!
Oh, The next challenge at Sparkle's blog comes out tomorrow so I'll be starting on my May CCC11 cards this week! If anyone else is interested, here's the link: Christmas Card Challenges
The actual challenge each week is optional, you can actually enter ANY Christmas card you made that week.
Sheena, Love all your cards. I also love the Sparkle Card Challenge. Thanks so much for the link. I would also like to invite you guys all to come and make cards for the Soldiers event next weekend. It is part of Wish rak and I have done these several times in the past we have a great time. Kathy
Remember, Tomorrow is the 25th of the month - Elf Day.
Unfortunately, I probably won't be around. We are being bombarded with one storm front after the other with very little break in between. This is the first the laptop has been fired up since Friday morning because of lightening. Shouldn't be on now but it's projected to be worse this afternoon as the heaviest of the storm moves closer.
We've had 8" of rain since Thursday night. The ground finally saturated enough to bring rain into the basement overnight, which means I"m not down there working for a few days. I am going to bring my coloring utensils upstairs and color images while hubby and I play games on Direct TV. He takes forever to figure out his moves so I have plenty of time to color when it's his turn hehe.
Hopefully weather will cooperate and I'll be back for Elf Day in May.
But that doesn't mean ya'll can't work on your cards without me :-D
