Here's my April card. I made 5 of them. Middle of March and I'm one month ahead on my cards. Patting myself on the back. Now I can look at all the cards submitted so far. I refuse to look at anyone's cards until I finish mine for the month. I'm not sure why.
Christine... sometimes if I just do one, when I'm done, I go ahead and cut everything else so I can just 'piece' it together when I have shorter time spans. I keep the original with the stack so I can remember what I was doing :-)

You did it right, Sue. :-) There isn't a specific gallery (Like for VSN) Just make sure CCC11 is in your Keyword when you type in your info on the upload page and put your gallery link here.
Congrats on finding your Mojo!

Add me to the list of done for April. I can't believe it and it is only the 2nd. I did struggle with not going and buying some different colored stickles. I didn't have the right red and then I wanted a wider dark brown ribbon. I had both in my hands at then put them both back. I have a huge amount of ribbon and just made myself go home and figure out one that would work. And I used crystal stickles instead of buying burgandy stickles. I am proud of myself. Hope you guys like what I did for this month.
You should be proud of yourself. The card turned out beautiful. Congrats!

Am on the phone with Bob. Keep in mind, ladies, he is on a boat in the middle of the IL river. Not like he has anything to distract him. I told him the story about Thumpity Thump Thump...
Guess what he now has running through is head :-) and no way to stop it. LOL

I never let my son forget that. Whenever he's around and I hear that song, I remind him of it. He just grins. He's 33 years old now.
Great cards, Pamela. I like the non-traditional layouts of some of your OSW pieces. Cool!
Thanks! I was not thinking when I cut the pieces for the OSW. I am putting more thought into the next one so I don't have so many oddly shaped triangles to work with!
Oh man, I am just beat tonight. It is only 8:30ish and I am so tired!
I was to work 8:30 -3 but I didn't get off till 5, too many things to do. Then the almost 2 hour drive home, only to find out Clint took out NOTHING for supper.. he didn't realize what time it was
One more for April. We had a snow storm in Arizona today! Weirdest weather. We are usually pretty warm by now. Good weather for making Christmas cards, though.
I made a couple more.. I'm up to 3 now.. I had planned on getting some more done today.. I sat down to stamp after my husband and son left for the golf course.. then the phone rang and it was my husband, which I thought was strange because they hadn't been gone very long.. seems that his truck decided to just stop running and they were on the side of the road. I went and got them, towed them home. We changed out the fuel filter, but we think it's more like the fuel pump.. bad thing is it's in the tank and the tank is full of gas. Hopefully after dinner tonight I'll be able to get some made.. but I won't upload until later since it's Sunday.
The music to Deck the Halls is believed to Welsh in origin and was reputed to have come from a tune called "Nos Galan" dating back to the sixteenth century. In the eighteenth century Mozart used the tune to Deck the Halls for a violin and piano duet J.P. McCaskey is sometimes credited with the lyrics of Deck the Halls but he only edited the Franklin Square Song Collection in which the lyrics were first published. The first publication date of Deck the Halls is 1881. The author is unknown but the words are said to originate in America.
Deck the halls with boughs of holly,
Fa la la la la, la la la la.
Tis the season to be jolly,
Fa la la la la, la la la la.
Don we now our gay apparel,
Fa la la, la la la, la la la.
Troll the ancient Yule tide carol,
Fa la la la la, la la la la.
See the blazing Yule before us,
Fa la la la la, la la la la.
Strike the harp and join the chorus.
Fa la la la la, la la la la.
Follow me in merry measure,
Fa la la la la, la la la la.
While I tell of Yule tide treasure,
Fa la la la la, la la la la.
Fast away the old year passes,
Fa la la la la, la la la la.
Hail the new, ye lads and lasses,
Fa la la la la, la la la la.
Sing we joyous, all together,
Fa la la la la, la la la la.
Heedless of the wind and weather,
Fa la la la la, la la la la.
Here are my April cards, not sure about the simplicity of them but could add an image at a later stage, what do you think? will see how I feel when ready to mail them.
Stopping in for a quick minute. Making the most of my WiFi time. I've checked out all your cards since I was here last and left Love. You guys are doing AWESOME!

I finished two more cards earlier today... I'm sitting here at my computer with the music turned way down low. About an hour ago my oldest daughter who has cerebral palsy, had a seizure.. she is resting now, but I have an ear out in case it happens again.
Thank you Debbie.. the rest of the night was a peaceful one. She just had her bloodwork done last week. She takes Phenobarbital (sp?) at bedtime. When she had one last year in February, I took her to the ER and the doctor said it was called a "breakthrough" seizure.. I was told a long time ago that she probably has them at nighttime and we never know about it. I was upstairs and heard her, I ran from one side of the house to the other to her bedroom and my husband who was downstairs heard me running and came upstairs.. he said he knew something wasn't right for me to be running that fast. We have an appointment on the 25th but I am going to call on Monday to see if we need to come in sooner.. her bloodwork must've been all good or they would've called.. they are really good providers we have at the clinic here at Ft. Bragg. thanks again for your well wishes. ~ Pam
