We can post to the CCC10 January thread before JanuarY?
you sure can! many people will work ahead especially if they realized they will be busier during a certain time of year. For 09, I had all my cards through summer done before spring...I am on the road a lot during summer.

Yippee! Yes, I have ideas rolling around in my head for 2010 Christmas cards. I wonder, though, if it's too late for me to reduce my monthly number to 8 as that will surely make plenty for the year. I made 83 for 2009. Thanks,
Greywolf a/k/a Val
My cards for January are done! YEA! LOL on;y because I thought I was short for '09 and quickly threw together more cards.. only to find some I had made and put away!
I really hope I don't get all these made and forget them again!
I used one of those rubbermaid shoebox containers, and kept my cards in it, so when I completed a set I just added it to the clear bin

Those are dome good ideas!
I am so afraid of them being out of site, then out of mind! LOL
As this years cards come rolling in I am getting even more ideas!
On the left side of the screen is "Search" click on that word not the down arrow...then type in CCC10 in the small box that comes up. If people use that in their keyword section it will show up.
(p.s. clicking on the down arrow doesn't do anything that's why I say not to click on it.)

Please sign me up for CCC10. It took me a while to get all my post up last year, but I did it. It was a great motivator and I was so grateful when I have enough Christmas cards to send out and enough to give as gifts to friends.
I know someone who joined this challenge last year and I was so impressed that she was able to keep up and have 60 cards done by the end of the year. So I'm going to join in this year and save myself the last minute rush/headache I end up with every other year I have made cards. I've already posted my first card for January.
Hi, Here are my 6 January cards. I will do the 4 extra cards later, and they will be different as I ran out of the woven part. But....... am so happy with the way these turned out, I wanted to get them posted. I hope you like them!
I only made 5 cards for this month, I hope that's ok? I was inspired my some ribbon, I finally found! And I just cleaned up my mess from my Christmas cards from this year! And what a rush it was to get those finished! So I'm very excited to try this challange!
Wow Heather! I was checking out your blog and love how you decorate the inside of your cards too. I may have to do that on a few of mine.
Also...what is under the sentiment? Is that an embellishment or is it a piece ov embossed foil. I saw the embossed foil technique and want to try it.
That's green christmas patterned paper but that's hard to see cause I embossed it with the Cuttlebug Snowflake emb. folder. Then I used a white ink pad on the embossed area to bring out the image.

I kept mine in an UGG box that I wrapped in Christmas gift wrap and put on the top shelf of the closet...out of the way but in sight.
Great idea to wrap the box in Christmas paper! I may have to do that myself to keep them nice and neat. I have packed mine in SU stamp set boxes and put them in the closet only to forget where I put them later. *blush* 10 usualy fit in them nicely though if you have any old SU boxes laying around. I still have a few from unmounting my old sets.
This is my first Gallery upload ever into SCS. Made 11 cards so far and had so much fun making these I will probably make more with these designs before moving onto February.
Here is my very first set of cards for the Christmas Card Challenge. Its not even 2010 and already I'm ahead of the game. YEA!!!!! Let's see if I can keep this up.
BTW, anyVirginia Tech fans out there? They are playing on New Years Eve. Go Hoakies!!!!

I'm not the sharpest knife in the drawer but if you hack at a thing long enough - anything will cut. LOL
I have to work late tonight - year end closing - work in finance so I was taking a late lunch. I thought I'd check out the forums one more time. Figured it out. Thanks for trying to get back to me in any case. I was just about to drop you a note to say "ignore my previous msg."
