Hello everyone. I make all the cards for a senior's home here in Belleville. They have 140 residents so I thought it would be a great idea to make my cards early and focus on creating a different card for each person. Here are my April cards

How wonderful that you make cards for the senior's home - what a lovely thing to do for the residents! I make so many Christmas cards because I have a sale at my house for friends and then I donate the money to the therapeutic riding stable where I volunteer to help fund kids with disabilities who can't afford it. Isn't it great to have a reason to indulge ourselves in a favourite hobby?
Love your cards, especially the one with the inlaid holly die and the two birds!

I would like to thank SusanBri for your nice comments about my cards and cause. My mother passed away last June at the age of 93. She was a resident of the Belmont Long Term Facility for three years. The staff was wonderful and treat each and every senior with kindness and dignity. I make all their birthday, sympathy, thank you, valentine, easter, and veteran's day cards. I also make cards for their tuck shop, craft fairs, and bingo prizes. I do this all as a way to pay it forward. Any money raised goes back into the senior programs.
SusanBri also uses her card making to benefit others. It is fun making cards and doing good with the results!
I don't own any stamps with a toy soldier but had this set from Verve with this adorable reindeer. He looks like a stuffed animal and a stuffed animal is a toy right? Anyway, I love how this card turned out. Here are my cards for the April challenge: Santa's Little Helper Santa's Little Helper Group
