Aha...I have not posted anything yet...too sick to sit at my craft table, but am on the mend. So, I've been setting up my links for posting each month, and guess what I've learned!!! I see you can post ahead into months that have not arrived! This helps in case you just have a card stuck in your head and it fits better later! Love it!~

Oh yes Carlene, work on whatever months tickle your fancy and creativity! That's why I love each month challenge up for the year, work ahead, get ahead so no stress in December!! So sorry to hear you have been sick, is it the flu?
My number four son is sick along with my DH. DH is on the mend but son is still so sick, he got a bad blood nose today! All that blowing!
Okay, so what are you all doing with the ones you make that don't fit a section?
( just go with what ever month it is and say I did so many for that month?)
for me I am so in the habit of typing CCCyear as a keyword it really makes me stop and think haha. ( made a print screen of the months theme's today at work though) so when I do fit one they will go into the right spots ( probably ) Thanks Ann
Thank you Ann...now I really do LOVE this challenge!!! In the past challenges have seemed to stymie my creative, because it makes me feel boxed in. I almost always make my card to give away for birthdays, anniversaries, get well, etc. and that also fit the person's who is going to receive it...personality, hobbies, etc. So, fitting a challenge seemed to stop me short...like running into a wall.
With this challenge if this month is a wreath and for some reason I'm thinking a Christmas critter...I can find the month it fits and just do it....I'm likin' it lots!

On being sick, thank you for asking...I'm still not up to par...coughing all the time...cough syrup isn't working all that well, losing sleep, etc. I don't think it's the flu, because I'm not running a fever (even though I felt like I was early on) and haven't had aches and pains, headaches, etc. Just a very bad head cold and cough, when I tried to sleep... also feeling very tired with no energy (and that could be caused by lack of sleep and coughing). I'm working on my 4th week, and it seems to be loosening up in my sinuses, but is still there, especially the coughing...now it's all the time up or laying down. Sure glad I'm retired...I used to get those cold bugs from the kids at school ALL the time. Enough of this...but I do hope your family and household are well and back to normal again soon!

I guess I'll sign up, even though I'll probably get behind since I'm scheduled for bunion surgery Friday and my stamp room's downstairs : (
I want to be less stressed next December!

Well, someone who shall remain nameless needs to get her &*( in gear because january is almost over and not one Christmas card has been made. A day long trip to make a presentation has been canceled however for this Saturday and so I am writing in big red letters----CRAFT DAY on it and plan to be in the stamping room all day. I will get those cards done. and I would like to state that I found the cutest sleigh die at Gina Marie .com.......am planning a card using it as I type.

Card Sketch Challenge 1-227 done only 396+ to go to be caught up!!!!!
I'd be joining that swift kick group! Have have a 4 week/ 3 day flu and am finally feeling decent. Have not been to craft table since December 23! Unfortunately, though I already have a plan for two sledding cards...I have a first-grandchild shower and a husband's birthday that take precedent...so darn! Those Christmas cards still have to wait...obviously into February, then two more will be due! Whoa is me!

Carlene - Well even if you are working on other cards start the base of a Christmas Card, it will keep you motivated! Or as a reminder to do your holiday card!!
Come on Lynn - look out the window at the trees, and it will give you inspiration!! Do a CAS card to get yourself going!!
For this challenge...The only requirement is to get cards made and have fun!!! So have fun!
I am so glad to be reminded of this again. I have been so caught up in the themes and not seeming to have something in mind to "fit." Making whatever strikes my fancy each month will free up my mojo, I think. So, it's OK to do that , right?
With that said, I'd better get on it! I am also behind.
Cindy,Of course! We are here to motivate and give ideas!! Post all your cards either to the appropriate theme month or to the month you made them in!! No worries, have fun, make CC and be ready come December with no added stress!!
I'm swamped with Valentine's Day stuff and sister's birthday card. I make items for my daughter to give to her second graders, too.
So I have ideas but haven't been able to put them into practice yet. Especially since I am hoping to make a ski or two for one of the designs. February is right around the corner, yikes!

No worries, you have time!! How wonderful that you help out with your daughters class!!
Nothing like coming late to the party!! I hope joining in with these challenges makes a difference towards the end of the year. Look forward to playing, Ann!
