Hi, ladies! Just checking in. I started my cards, but have not completed them yet! I guess I need to get moving on them! Hopefully, I will get them done this w/e!

I was really stressing in Dec last year and I still haven't sent them all out. Of course my aunt who I was making cards to send did : )

I would love to do this i will be starting this month and ending in november. i got so busy in december i never sent out cards. i know i know bad stamper. but i seriouly didnt have time to make them. so i shoud be able to finish my 10 by the end of the month. this sounds like alot of fun.

Just remember Brendalea- there is NO stress in this challenge! Don't worry what everyone else is doing! As long as you get YOUR 10 done each month- that's all YOU have to worry about!!! Your goal is to enjoy a stress-free holiday season in 2007!
Just to avoid any confusion:
Many people are not in this challenge for the prizes, they are using it as a means to have a stressfree holiday. It is a way for people to get that little extra "nudge" they need to get their cards done early. So some are making there cards in advance of the month they are due. That is great, I commend them for working so hard!
Some of you though, like the little extra incentive of a prize for posting first. My philosophy is, what ever makes you reach your goal, is the way to go!
To make sure it is clear to everyone involved, the first one to post in each month will win the prize for that month. You must post within that month, which means 12:00:001 Eastern Standard Time. So all of you who come from the West Coast, that means 9:00:001 PM on the last day of the previous month.
But also remember, for every month that you post in, you will be entered into the drawing for the prize basket. This will be drawn in December. So it doesn't matter if you post early, on time, or late, as long as you have done cards for that month, you will be entered into the drawing.
So I hope everyone is having fun so far! I know I am. I am amazed by all of the wonderful cards that have been posted so far. I love them all!

I think I need to do this. I got so behind in 2006 I didn't send out cards. *hear the gasp? I promised myself I would not get so behind this year. Please sign me up.

I'm in the same boat as you! I signed up a long long time ago and have yet to start mine. Been a very busy month though with financials and tax stuff. I do the accounting for my church. I just finished it all today....hope to be stamping tomorrow!
Can't wait to see what you come up with....I am so inspired by your work! It is totally fabulous!!

Here it is the last day of January......I want to say Congratulations to everyone who met their goals for January! I tried to look at all of the cards that were posted and tried to comment on them. I can honestly say, I was very impressed with all of the cards. You all did beautiful cards and there were so many different kinds of cards, what an inspiration.
Don't forget, The first one to post there completed cards after 12 midnight tonight EST, 9 Pacific time, will get a small gift sent to them.

Well, I think I made it before the end of the month. Thanks for the challenge. It will be fun to keep the Christmas spirit alive all year.
My goal is to make ten cards each month - 60 for me to send and 60 to send to my friend's grandson who is serving onboard an aircraft carrier for him to share with his friends.
Hi. This sounds like a great idea! I too would like to do better than I did last year. My daughter and I both were too close for comfort withour CC's last year. Now, let me understand this challenge thing. This isn't like some of the other challenges I've been reading about is it, where you have to make 10 +1 cards, and send them in. (I don't get that one too much). Either way, I would get to making more cards more often. That is a good thing! I will chek with my daughter today and perhaps you will be sign us both us! :

dh has taken a lot of trip lately.. not leaving me a bunch of time for stamping and scrapping...
maybe Feb will be different. I have the materials gathered. I am trying to get Valentine's completed and out the door for sale.. hopefully I can get to this...
Hi! I'm already starting a month late, but I would like to sign up. I was so behind in 2006, I was sending out many of my Christmas cards on Dec. 23rd! That will not happen this year!
Oh poop! I forgot all about this in my effort to get my brother's wedding invite samples made this month. Sigh. I guess I'll have to re-evaluate and start in Feb.

Well, I have finished organizing and rearranging my craft room so I'm ready to join in the fun. I've been sending out cards I have made for the last 3 years but I always seem to be rushing to get them out the week before Christmas. This is a great idea and I look forward to the new friendships.
Count me in! I am new to posting (and have never participated in any type of challenge) and I want a STRESS FREE holiday season! I only send around 100 cards, so February to November for me! I need to get busy!
Just want to thank Alliesmem for the wonderful gift I received for being the first uploader for February. Wow! I received little gingerbread men, a Christmas lights stamp, blank cards, little snowflake ribbon and two containers of glitter. I was really surprised. Thanks again!
I'm in too. I love this idea. I was still in the mood for doing Christmas cards and kept avoiding it because I thought I must be crazy. This gives me a good excuse to do Christmas cards even if the season is over.
