Sounds good (just like the Christmas Clubs at the bank). I'll start in January. And please email me (mail AT kellyrae DOT com) the snail mail address for sending prizes. Thanks!

After spending several hours on Christmas eve trying to finish my cards this year (I actually hid in my office Christmas day finishing the last 4!), I really need this challenge. Sign me up, and please send me your snail mail address to send prizes to!
I am going to join in on this one... I only sent 5 cards this year...(yes, you read right, just 5) and that is only because I demonstrated the same one at all the workshops I did in November. I absolutely LOVE to make my own Christmas cards, so how is it that Christmas has come and gone and I didn't make any???
Send me the snail address too, I'd love to help with prizes. My husband says I collect waaaay more than I use anyway!
Thanks!
Kathy

I want in, please!! I'll start in January. I need to make at least 10 a month, sometimes 12, and I need the thank you's too! Can't wait to get started!
Hi! I always need a ton of cards and find myself mailing them the week of Christmas. My goal is to have them sent the weekend of Thanksgiving. I am always impressed by people who can do that!!
Ok-pinkhedgehog shamed me into joining! Or did she con me? I don't know, but it will be really nice to get them done this year and not have to spend one solid week, stamping, coloring, cutting, gluing... I will start in January and just keep going. I made 40 cards for this past Christmas and then dh had to buy some to give to people he "forgot" to tell me he needed them for. We tried to make it a family project. dh and kids helped with the coloring and my sister helped a lot with the cutting. This will help me reduce stress. I need that.
I would love to join this challenge. I don't know how to upload the photos though. I would also like to send something in for prizes. I will do Feb. through Nov.
I would love to have my Xmas cards done early.........more time for baking, etc. Thanks for organizing. I would like to play January thru June. Does that make sense? Thanks again, Nancy
P.S. I will send you a prize. email address: [email protected] Lisa or Linda, please pm me your mailing address so I can send a prize. Dawn.......I loved your 1st card.

I want to play Jan-Oct. Thanks for the motivation. I used cards from swaps this year and only made 7 cards this year myself..Isn't that terrible, but wait till next year. I did make DH 60 thank you cards, but it was a major rush job with an assembly line of 3 people going.

Put me down for this. I still haven't done my 2005 cards- I hoped for doing 2006 Happy new year cards but the durn flu bug knock me and my husband out for the count. Hopefully this will get me going and ready for next year. I am going to encourage my mom and sister to do this as well.
I can't believe it!! We are up to 120 people in this challenge!!! That's over 1200 Christmas cards being made for 2006!! ;) (Okay, so I'm an auditor in real life---numbers are my game!).
Thanks to everyone that has sent in prizes and $$ already! We can't wait to start passing them out. There's some really fun stuff coming in.
Don't forget---starting in January, please use the new "Here we Go" link to post your completed cards. I can't wait to see what everyone comes up with!!
I've updated the original post in this link with all the participants and who has sent prizes. If I don't have you down, please let me know.
I'm Done!!! I am feeling so accomplished for 2006!!
I started this morning and made my 10 Christmas Cards for 2006. Really I made 26...10 for me and 16 for a fundraiser I am doing. Whereas I can't upload today and the thumbnail thing doesn't work for me...my card is a CASE from jen41472. It is SCS_x-mas_closed_by_jen41472 or photo number 180759. I have been dying to use my word window and a cami tag!!! I used a red polka dot ribbon (because I was out of red gingham. I used a bigger snowflake from the Little Layers sets and omitted the merry & bright. On the sliding tag I stamped merry christmas from the Loads of Love set. I'll post tomorrow!! Whoo hoo...10 down and 90 to go!!
Definitely sign me up! Making cards this year under pressure was not fun. I'll participate Jan-Nov. Thanks for organizing this fun challenge. PM'ing now for addy to send prizes...

This challenge sounds like fun. I haven't participated in one of the challenges yet but I'd like to give it a whirl. I'll participate each month. Getting most of the cards done before Thanksgiving sounds like a good way for me to get my cards done without the time crunch.
I'll participate again, it was nice having them done by August this year but I have to admit I was still trying to get them out in time for Christmas because I lagged at sending them although they were done! I had a hard time getting in the Christmas spirit...
so, this year I will include my address labels, address stamp on the envies & stuff in the challenge to avoid the unnecessary stress!
I just finished my first set of ten. Yea!!! I just added it to my gallery.
I think I'm the world's worst proscrastinator and every year it's the same thing at Christmas time.. I always had the best of intentions. Well... I think I'm headed in the right direction this year.... and in January no less. ;-)

This was me too this year. And I was disapointed that I had not stamped matching envelopes so I'll be trying to do that as well.
I found last year that if I don't stamp the envies at the same time as the card, I won't get the set back out again.....good idea to do them at the same time!

Art is intended to provoke an emotion from a total stranger. If youve succeeded in this, consider yourself an artist. Paper Shanks Blog. Love me or hate me, you are still talking about me
Please add my name to the list. Not sure if I need 120 Christmas cards, but I can always switch to something else about in August or September, Or I could just play "catch up" if I'm behind. (It's a game I'm really good at.)
Sign me up. I didn't get any done for 2005 (lots of stuff going on with my 2yo DS), so I would love to get started early in 2006 so that my DH doesn't say "You don't have time to stamp cards!" My email is: [email protected] Let me know your snail mail and I will send something!
I would like to participate in this challenge. How do I go about joining? I have been a SCS member (SCS Lurker is more like it) for over a year and yes I have even been a fan club member. I really don't want to be making 50 cards in December 2006 (that's what I did last year). I think this is a great idea. Please let me know what I have to do. Thanks
I am definitely in! I send 130 cards each year and need this extra push! I have a design and will get started on my 1st 10! I have a few prizes ready to send in...just pm me the mailing address and I will get them right out! Thanks!
Lisa, Please add me to the list. I have not sent out a mass mailing of handmade Christmas cards since 2003. This year I quickly made 5 cards the day before I got together with my family to exchange gifts. This is embarrassing because I am a SU demo! This is exactly what I need. I would like to make 10 cards each month from Jan - Nov. I'd also be more than happy to send some things for prizes and some $$ for mailing. You can PM me with your address or email me at [email protected]. Thank you for your time in doing this. This will be fun. I'll work on my January cards this weekend.

well my first set of 12 is almost finished, but I don't know when I'll be able to upload them. I'm still out sick from work and don't have any clue when I'll be going back. (the scanner that I use is at work) So I will get them scanned in eventually, but know that they will be done this evening. and of course I went with a really vintage card with lots of distressing and ribbon!
I'm so glad that I signed up for this challenge. It feels really good to already be further ahead than I was last year! and hopefully no playing catch up on Christmas Eve! thanks to our wonderful moderators! hip, hip, hooray!!!!!!
Well - this will be my first time in a challenge....No better time to start than now, right?? My goal will be to do 70 cards total. Hope to do 10 per month until I reach that...It's ok to skip a month here and there right? I know it just will not happen in Summer...Not going to kid myself! If you need to e-mail me, the addy is [email protected]
THANKS!!!
