Description of Organization: At Rose's Fund we are sensitive to the fact that it takes more than love to save a life, and all animals deserve a chance. We will financially assist, to the best of our ability, pet owners and Good Samaritans who have an animal with a good prognosis for a healthy life, but are at a financial loss. Our goal is to help make that difficult decision come from your heart, not from your pocket. No one should ever have to choose between medical care and euthanizing their pet. When there is a situation where the pet or found animal has a good chance of being well but the owner or Good Samaritan can’t afford it; Rose's Fund will to the best of our abilities cover the cost. CONTACT PERSON: Teresa - va.sunshine
Referred by: Donna - RileyRuxpin TYPE OF CARDS: Thank you and sympathy of a pet, general hello or thinking of you. Keep in mind, cards may be sold for a profit for the organization SPECIAL RESTRICTIONS: None

Also, our card donations are not tax deductible and it is not required. Please do not ask for a receipt. There have been groups that will send thank you's but the "referred by" person keeps us informed and passes on the thank you's. Most of these organizations are volunteers and spend countless hours helping others, lets help make their jobs easier and bless them in helping others.

Just have two questions with regards to these cards. Are we still to leave them blank on the inside and would it be alright to put a label on the back with Rose's Fund for Animals. Since some of them might be sold, thought it would be nice to have the organizations name on the back rather then mine.

yes, please leave them blank....they will be sending them and need to write a personal message or possibly selling them. Putting the Rose's Fund name on back would be fine, but it is not required. thanks so much for your support!

Jane G- TOO CUTE!! Love the cute doggies stamp set. I mainly just do SU And they are finally coming out w/ doggie/cat stamp sets so I can' wait to get them in June.
Hello! I am so thrilled to see "Rose's Fund for Animals" as the May "Cards for a Cause". Please see their website for more information on this worthwhile endeavor.
It is so uplifting to see so many splitcoaststampers responding with such generosity! I'm planning on having a dozen or so cards ready by the end of the month. As I'm the one that recommended this group, I'd better get busy!
Thank you all so very much! What a special group of people you are!

As a supporter of the Mr. Mo Project, I am beyond thrilled that the Cards for a Cause recipient this month is another animal rescue organization!
Count me in! I wil send some cards as soon an I can get some time in my art studio! May is a super busy month for me (holidays, family visits, birthdays, etc! :o )
I'm still pretty new to SCS and just came across this Card for a Cause challenge. I love that this is something available to participate in. What a great idea! I will be joining in this month for sure and hope to make this a regular occurrence. I just recently ordered some new animal stamps that I hope I get in time to use this month. In the meantime, I have added 7 cards to the gallery. My goal is to finish a dozen. Is there a deadline they need to be sent by?
Enjoying this site so very much! Thanks to all who participate and lead. It has given me added zest to this fun hobby.
I've a box of 24 cards going postal today, headed in your direction. More designed for sale than pet sympathy, as I've not had any time for card making this month...hopefully they'll suit!

welcome Amy, we are thrilled you are here...thank you so much for your willingness to help! We usually try to have our cards sent by the first couple of days into the first of the month. The months run from the first to the last day of the month, but mailing cards into the first couple of days of the month is usually fine. I will be posting a new "cause" on the first of every month...we luv to spread the love around! Please let me know if you have more questions...welcome!

Due to a family "hiccup", my cards have not been mailed out and I won't be able to get to the PO until Friday. However! I do have thirty cards going out to Rose's Fund. Such a worthy cause! And what a wonderful show of support from the Splitcoaststampers! Awesome!

Life has been crazy lately....didn't get last months cards sent off...or this month...but I do have 10 cards packaged for April and 10 cards packaged for May that will be postal this weekend. Sorry for the delay.
