Hello Everyone! We had a special request come in from the SCS Comments... The email is below. If you can help out that is fantastic. God bless you!!!
I am the Activity Director at Good Samaritan Society here in Prescott Valley Arizona.
My residents make crafts (cards and scrapbooks, etc) under direction of an Activity Staff Member. There are a few of whom are seen in their beds with some limited mobility.
Easy to mid level assembly and layered items seem to work well. We use mostly glue sticks and double back pop up's with tabs. I have tried double sided tape but it seems to be a problem for them getting the proper pressure and angles.
I don't have many supplies as the previous Director either got rid of our supplies or took them home with her. (Doing what I can with what I have).
I am continually trying to have new and exciting crafts for our residents to make and feel proud of sharing with others. (We are even trying to have a Bazaar in November to raise money for a new watering system for our patio boxes.)
The address of 3380 N. Windsong Drive in Prescott Valley, AZ 86314 is correct. Attn: Jennifer Bigelow - Activities Dept. would be great.
I can arrange envelopes - if they would like to include them that would be fine as well.
I really appreciate anything your group can arrange as I would like to have our residents make some cards for our Bazaar this December as well as having some to send to their relatives for various reasons.
Thank you again.
So if you can assist Jennifer....send your kits to:
