ORGANIZATION BEING FEATURED: Operation Gratitude (this is also an on-going mission)
DESCRIPTION: Operation Gratitude provides opportunities for the American people to express their gratitude and show our military and first responders that what they do matters.

TYPE OF CARDS REQUESTED: We can use birthday, anniversary, and Christmas cards, but we would appreciate you making the majority of your cards more generic so our troops are able to mail at any time of the year. We do not send sympathy or thank you cards to the troops. While we do look at each card you send, and will separate them as needed, we would appreciate you sorting your cards based on type before you send them to us.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:DO NOT USE ANY TYPE OF GLITTER!
Please avoid religious icons and scripture quotes on your cards.
Please avoid using pearls or rhinestones as they almost always break off or damage the envelope during transit.
When adding any 3D embellishment such as ribbons, lace, bows, or 3D stickers, please ensure those decorations are securely attached to the card and will not come loose once the glue dries. We want your card to be as beautiful as the day you made it when we send it to our troops, and when they are mailed back to their loved ones.
If you are using dark-colored cardstock, please be sure to adhere a piece of white paper inside your card.
Envelopes are needed. Please use light-colored envelopes. Addresses written on dark paper may be rejected by the post office.
