I am new to Splitcoaststampers and was thrilled to see this particular thread. Approximately two weeks ago, I mailed 20 cards to this month's cause and received a lovely letter of appreciation today. Although my focus has been on cards for our local children's hospital, I love the switch to adults who could also use happy mail. Thank you so much for the opportunity to contribute, and I look forward to continued participation.

I received the nicest thank you letter!! They are never expected but always appreciated.
It's been a rough week for us...last Thurs we had to put our girl kitty to sleep...it was totally unexpected. We thought we were going to bandage a paw with a boo-boo...next thing we know she was diagnosed with Feline Leukemia, FIV, and heartworm. We were heartbroken. But she lived 9 1/2 years with us (we took her in when she was 6 months old - she was a feral stray). She was so sweet to us but she didn't like anyone else. We had to have our male cat tested on Saturday to see if he had it - and he didn't - Thank you Jesus!

You ladies rock! Look at what I received from Jennifer today.
Hi Sue,
Just a quick email to share how God is working through you and what an incredible impact your group is having on youth at DJJ! Weve received over 600 beautiful handmade cards from across the country from Florida, Kentucky, Arizona, California, Ohio, New Jersey, Maryland, Washington, Illinois, North Carolina, and Pennsylvania! Each package brings cheers from staff and true smiles from kids. Its incredible to see youth have the opportunity to send heart felt sentiments to their loved ones. Cards for a Cause is making that happen! SO SO SO HAPPY AND SO SO SO GRATEFUL!
Well, were off to send some congratulations cards. Today 79 of our youth will receive high school diplomas/GEDs that they earned while at the Department of Juvenile Justice! J Thank you for helping us celebrate!
Sincerely,
Jennifer Wallace

I'm back again....this time I'm asking for prayer from all of you who believe in the power of prayer. My nephew is in need of prayer right now - long story short is that he tried to commit suicide, was found, in a coma, woke up a bit, MRI shows very slow brain activity, doctor not giving much hope. He's 36 years old. He needs a miracle.
Julie, your cards are gorgeous! I love that paper. Thank you for making cards that will bless so many ohter.

Hi ladies,
I just got an email from Jennifer. She wanted me to pass this along.
We are so thrilled to have received such an outpouring of awesomeness!!! It truly is such a pleasure! Please extend my sincerest appreciation and gratitude for your group truly bringing sunshine on a rainy day!
The letters and handwritten notes are the least they could do.
Thank you to all of you who donated cards to this group. They will accept cards all year long if you are so inclined to send them.
May God bless you all for your kind hearts and gorgeous cards to bless others.
They are truly appreciated and will change lives.
Blessings,
Sue
