My name is Betty Turner and I live in MN. Just moved here. My parents are in a memory care facility and I would love to make holiday cards for the facility. I was thinking. Valentine's, Easter, July 4th, Halloween and Christmas.
No envelopes needed. Can anyone help me?
The facility has one request, no glitter. My address is
1631 Marthaler Lane #105 West St Paul, MN 55118
Thank you.
I am in the process of making Easter cards for some other organizations, so I would be happy to make some extra and send them to you. My husband is in a nursing home so I know how much the residents enjoy receiving cards especially now.

My march cards will be going to a foster child program but when I complete that obligation, I will be happy to make some cards for the senior facility.
Smart folks knowing to ask for no glitter on the cards! Sounds like they've already been there, done that. LOL
I'm guessing that these cards are for the patients to give to staff or one another since envelopes are not needed. What about cards for the patients to send to family and friends outside of the facility? Are they not sending any out?
Today I mailed 22 Fourth of July cards. Odd number because on half of the cards (two designs) I forgot and used glitter paper (not loose glitter) for the word "celebrate"... but was able to remove it from 9 cards successfully using Connie Stewarts method of using the heat gun to melt the glue. I was able to die cut the word in Crayola StarDust papers. Came out pretty good... except for about 3. So, I will use them in my own stash. Enjoy !
my package was returned with insufficient address - I left off the #105. And then I moved the word WEST to West St Paul... because PO said West St Paul and St Paul have the same zip. Mailed again... we'll see if this one comes back ! - Sorry for the confusion!
You still interested in getting cards? Also, cards with scripture acceptable?

Betty: Hopefully, I got the zipcode right this time. I sent off a box of Halloween and Christmas cards for your folk's facility. The box was mailed this morning. Sarge
Betty, I just send a package today by UPS. It should arrive on Friday. I think there are 17 Halloween cards and around 25 Christmas cards. I counted then we pulled a few out as I was questioning if they would be good for the residents. I remembered the no glitter rule you asked for, so we pulled a few that possibly would not be good. Enjoy!
How many residents are there at the facility where your parents are living?
Thanks,
Becca

Just checking before I jump into creating more cards: your original note does not mention Thanksgiving. Do you prefer no Thanksgiving cards? If so, I will start on the Christmas cards.
Hi Sharon, Thanks for responding. The facility has 74 residents. The Waters of Oakdale. In Minnesota. My parents are in the memory care unit. I have Halloween and Thanksgiving already. What a blessing! Can use some help with Christmas. No glitter and no envelopes. They're delivered by hand. Sometimes in gift baskets. Any help is great. Your friend, Betty
I can definitely help with Christmas, I have a ton of Christmas cards just sitting in boxes. I will work on that this week and get them in the mail to you
