I used a stamp I found on sale today at Meijer. I was going there for something else, but I just had to stop by the scrapbooking section ;-) And who passes up a sale? Doesn't this puppy look like he is totally sympathizing with you?
I'm out of birthday cards in the stash box, so I did quick and easy for my first attempt. I think I can improve on this though, so I'm going do another while everything is set up. Besides three different birthdays this next week to be ready for.
I don't know if this actually qualifies for this challenge as it is a long card rather than a tall card, but it does fit in the standard letter size business envelope. - Kathy
I found these great new papers at my local scrapbook store (Lighthouse) and couldn't wait to use them in the challenges; started out with the Tri-fold but scored a little too deep & ended up with scraps to use for my little tall card!!! (couldn't waste my new paper right??); so then I cut it & folded it the wrong way so now I have a SKINNY little tall card! Oh well, I think he'll like it anyway! HERE'S MY CARD!

Love this size cards. A lot of Hero Arts stamps fit perfectly on this size (I think they planned it that way, since they have their own line of cards this size to stamp on.)
Can you tell that the black in my card is just for contrast, that the white is the actual base of the card, or should I put a note?
I got the second card done. I knew I could do better. I really like this size and while I was surfing I saw that someone had tipped it on its side, so I followed suit. Hope you enjoy.

I don't normally use non-SU items, but I got this background paper in the mail today as a solicitation and I just had to use it. This was a fun size card to make and I hope we do it again. Thanks for looking.
I have not been able to do a challenge for a couple of weeks- LOVE this one- I am going to have to make time this weekend! I cannot believe this challenge is not even 24 hours old and there are already TONS of cards- and they are all WONDERFUL!!! You are all very inspiring!

So much fun
Our family is hooked on the melted crayon challenge. My DH had to try his hand at it. So I combined this with melted crayon. I told him to take it to his office to use for a sympathy or incouragment card. He said no, He wants to keep his work. lol. Maybe he wont complain about all my stuff and time on the computer now,(I can wish can't I). Anyway here it is
Congratulations on converting your husband. The background is beautiful on this card. I was just thrilled when my husband asked me to make him a birthday card for a co-worker the other day. It is nice when they can appreciate our "art."
Your entire gallery linked and I don't see a card this size. So go back and bring the card to full view, do an edit in this thread post and just delete the address there now and add the new one. Very easy to do but if you need help PM me!
Actually, it linked the Long-Time Friend gallery. The 1st one is the square card she made with the leftovers of the little tall card she linked in post #100. Both are beautiful!!

You probably have some envelopes the right size. These are the ones that quite often come 'security-lined', box of 100 or 120... the ones you use to pay bills which don't include an envelope (like payment books), etc.
I finally got mine done! Yesterday, I needed to finish my Christmas cards for February for the challenge. Only a day (or does that make it a month) late. Anyway, I didn't get a chance to work on this challenge until today.
I was a little late in getting this done but finally here it is. I choose love because of the saying around the reverse print flower. Also I want to give a yell of thanks to
