thank you so much for taking the time to come up with these challenges, they have really helped me to push myself to do new things!
I'm just now going into my stamp room to make up a card for this.
Last night though I decided that I'm going to start a sketch book for my reference of card layouts that I like. That way when I need some inspiration I can just browse though some of the ideas I've collected.
I figured that these challenges that we have been doing are a perfect start to my sketch book. However, I really didn't want each one printed out on it's own piece of paper. So I made a 1 page word document that has all 7 sketches on it.
Figured that someone else could benefit from my work so I'm attaching it to this post. I'll keep it updated and keep on posting it for those that like the idea.
Well, once again, I couldn't make just one card so here are my three samples, two of them Valentines and all very basic. I think my headcold is affecting my creativity, couldn't seem to get any great ideas for this one.
This is the 1st time I'm posting for the SC. I had the sketch in my mind when I saw it last week... I made this card last night & today after viewing other cards, I'm not too sure if my card fits the challenge...
Let me know.
I found the sketch section in the gallery - should people post their cards in the feedback section of the initial sketch idea? I'm thinking that would make them easier to find vs looking for this topic....

Finally, I've had time to work on the challenges. This is my first one, granted I'm starting in the middle, but at least I'm getting some done. I thought about using this also for a swap. The only thing I don't like is that it looks like the pickup just went over a bump and the flowers are bumping out of the truck. That's what happens when you don't use your Stamp-a-ma-jig.

Several challenges involved here--Rox's to recycle a used card--the Santa panel--also to use an old sketch challenge--used #7. Also recycled is the button from some my mom cut off old clothes--fits with the Button Up challenge. The ribbon is some salvaged from a card from a CCRAK. The cardstock base is some precut cards I had stashed away forever and had decided to use up when I came across them yesterday.
