I went to Michael's and got some dollars stamps for the first time last Friday. I also picked up some really cute ribbon (called Bobbin Ribbon) for 99 cents! Here is my first submission for this challenge:
I just gone done making some cards. I CASED them fromt the gallery. I did not realize until I was done that I had used $1 store stuff on the majority of the card. The "hello" stamp, flower stamp and white cord are all $1.
I finally made my way to the Dollar Store and found this metal container and silk flowers for a secret sister 4th of July arrangement. I had hoped to cover the entire base up with stamped card stock, but it is too hard to get the cardstock to lay flat. So I solved it with small stamped rectangles. I am going to add sparklers to the arrangement when the local fireworks stand opens. Gallery at Splitcoaststampers
I found a very more treasures now to find the time to stamp. Deb
Here's another one, I found a broken photo holder made of wire stars, which was marked down for a quarter. It had only one broken stem, but what a bargain for the Dollar Store. I also picked up a pack of 5 wooden spools to use for the base. I am going to bust up the rest of the photo holder and make gifts for some good friends. Only headache was getting the cardstock to stay around the spool, so I laced some cord through some eyelets. I also used wide packing tape to laminate the small cutouts so they would stay in place.
So now its decorated and photographed, once without a card Gallery at Splitcoaststampers
and one holding a card. Gallery at Splitcoaststampers

I actually have some cuter ones that I just haven't scanned yet. I bought it yesterday while I was out running around with my kiddos...I wasn't even thinking about the challenge.
Here's a great little gift - Purse calendar from Dollar Tree. Just take out the insert and attach your stamped images directly to the calendar. (Dayspring brand calendars).
I was just looking through the challenges from the past weeks and found this one. I thought it would be fun to try. I picked up the flower stamp and the fun fur at the dollar tree. Gallery at Splitcoaststampers
I was so excited when I somehow found this thread, I didn't realize it was started last year! LOL Better late than never right! I LOVE the $ stores and this is one of the many things I have found: Gallery at Splitcoaststampers
I made ATCs with this dollar stamp (the shoe) for a convention in Monroeville, PA. I had several left over and last night, I made this card mounting the ATC on a card front. Just in time for this challenge!
