Default Need Your Thread Deleted?

If your sale/trade is complete, here's how to let us know that you're ready for your thread to be deleted. Otherwise, threads are routinely deleted after their "active" period of 4 weeks / 28 days.
  • Enter the first post of your thread.
  • Click on "Edit" - lower right corner of post.
  • Click on "Advanced".
  • Now you can change the thread's title to " Delete Please ".
  • Save, and you're now eligible to start a new BST thread. We have a limit of one active BST thread at a time, please.
    * OR *
  • Just click the * button in the lower left corner of your first post, and ask us to please delete the thread.
Hope this helps!

You are always welcome to cut & paste your thread text from your Word document or other saved text files, or write a new, current thread. ;)

Good morning,

We can have a single ISO thread at the same time we have a single Buy/Sell or a single Trade thread.

However, if the same items are occurring in the ISO and the Trade thread, the 2 will be merged. ;)

Default I made a boo-boo

I posted a thread to sell some SU ink pads but was kindly informed that I can not sell current SU items. Would you be so kind to delete my thread. Sorry for the confusion.

Thanks, Cramos. I got it. ;)

You're welcome to post a thread selling retired colors of SU ink pads. Current colors cannot be sold, no matter which style of pad.

Our Site Posting Rules are linked in the bottom of each SCS page footer.

Hi scrapinnut620,

BST/ISO threads are purged after their active period of 1 month, as shown in our Site Posting Rules.

Hi, I have a question and don't know who else to address it to. Why are posts allowed to be bumped to the top every day? I've been on this site everyday for the last week and find the same ads are at the top of the list. These sellers shouldn't be allowed to bump their ads for a few days or so so the newest ads show at the top. Just my thoughts.

Hi Lori,

I can certainly understand your frustration. We do permit a maximum of 1 "bump" per day. If you do notice authors bumping or bringing their thread back up to the top more than once per day, please feel welcome to report that to us by using the asterisk *, i.e. report button, located in the left end portion of each post here at SCS.

You can tell us in the resulting text box why you're reporting the post. ;)

Sincerely,
~Bev

It sure would be dandy if how to delete a posting were a sticky at the beginning of EACH of the sub-forums or, if nothing else, in the Tips and Guidelines.

What happened to my sale post? I just sold a couple of sets and wanted to update the post and it is gone? Since things are still being purchased it should be considered active. Help!

Hi Nancy,
Threads in our Buy/Sell/Trade/ISO forums last for 1 month. This and more very helpful information is shared in the SCS Site Posting Rules, always linked in the footer of each SCS page.

Thanks for your understanding.

Hello Texas Grannie, you seem to know what you are doing here, unlike me. I have a post that I would like to bump to the top. Can you tell me how to do that please

Easily done! Just reply to your own thread. Say "bump" or "Sold items removed" (or whatever housekeeping chores you've just completed on your thread), etc. We limit self-bumping to once per day, please.

Happy shopping & selling!

Threads are purged after 1 month as a means of keeping the SCS Buy/Sell/Trade/ISO forums current. You're welcome to write a new Buy/Sell thread if you would like to do so.
