I have purchased sets from the following members in the past couple of months. All have had clear communication, fast shipping, and were a pleasure to work with. I invite you to add your list of reliable sellers so we can cross-reference names. I have just purchased sets from a few other sellers and will update my list as the sets arrive. When you start a post, and you buy from additional SCS members, just go back and 'edit' your post, and add their name to your list. Remember, this is a thread to give kudos to the many honest SCS folks who sell their sets and provide great 'customer service.' (In other words.....no bashing on this thread, please).
How to check if the name of a seller is on the Reliable Sellers list
If you're new to buying on SCS, or not sure whether there have been any feedback on a seller, simply do a "Search" for that seller's name.
Click on:
1) Search
2) Advanced Search
3) In the box for "key words", type in the user name of the seller
4) Where it lists the forums, on the right hand side, choose Buy / Sell
5) Hit "Search Now"
The results will show the threads in the "Buy/Sell" forum showing the seller's name.
Hope this helps! This is how I find out if a seller's been listed, before I buy, rather than going through 300 posts on the "Reliable Seller's Thread".
***PLEASE NOTE: Not all buyers come back to the Reliable Seller's Thread and listed who they have bought from. There are many names of wonderful sellers, which I'm sure, for one reason for another, have not been listed on there. ******
**** edited to add **** The lists you see on here are based on personal experiences. From what I understand, not everyone will agree with the sellers names posted on here. Some people have had 'rotten' experiences with folks on these lists. So, please take it with a grain of salt. My list is based on my personal experience. It's not to say that someone else had the same experience I did.

It's fine to give kudos, but in my experience ALL of the sellers I have purchased from on SCS have been reliable and prompt. The list would be very long. Knock on wood, but I have never been skunked on this site. whether selling, buying, or trading. Thanks to all of you great gals.
My list would also go on forever and ever, I have had great sellers on SCS!
here are some that I can think of off the top of my head..

Hers is my list of wonderful, reliable and generous Ladies. I know I'm missing a few but I will continue adding: Thank You for making my experiences on this site Fantastic!!
All of these ladies were just fantastic, I would do business with them all over again. Again, I will add more as my current purchases arrive (or not, eh?). Thanks to every single one of you ladies!
Oh, I wish I saved all the PM's so I would know the user names of all the wonderful SCSer's I have bought from or traded with. I will try to back track, but from now on I will post ones here :p fantiastic idea!

All of my purchases and trades have been wonderful here on SCS and I am going to add names as I continue my new habit, LOL. BUT, a quick note about:
*Wildmae23, she is fairly new and has only a few posts, so I took a chance on a VERY LARGE trade and had so much fun trading with her. I received my item (brand new cricut) as promised and the communication could not have been better. Just wanted you all to know not to let her low post number scare you
BUT I have a hard time remembering what I bought from whom and it takes me forever to identify which package came from what seller. Any ideas to help here? I feel bad when I can't let them know the package has arrived. All sellers should put their full name and address in their pm to buyers, so we can match the package with the pms. That would help me. Thanks.

Just a suggestion....
When you PM a seller about a stamp set, place the name of the stamp set (or one of the several stamp sets you are buying) in the Title or Subject Heading of your PM. That way, you can go back and 'reference' what you bought and who you it from.
Then, come back here and post the name of the seller, so everyone will know that you had a good experience buying from that person (if that really is the case).
I keep a notebook by my computer.
When I pm someone about stamp set/sets they have for sale and have heard back from them that the set is available for me to buy, I mark in the notebook the date, name of the stamp, price, cost of shipping and how I paid(PP, MO or check). when the set comes, I mark it received, then pm them to let then know I received it and thank them and mark the notebook with a TY(thank you).
From now on I am also going to put down their SCS name so I will know who to add to this thread.
I have done at least 40 buys in the B/S forum in the last 6 months and everyone of them has been a good experience.

I do something very similar to Carol, but I also have an excel file in which I list all of my sets, including the ones paid for but not received yet (these are marked in red). So, the first column would be a name of the stamp set, second a name of the seller (including scs screen name, e-mail address or any other info I might know), third price, fourth shipping, fifth when it was paid for, and last one is how it was paid for. Once received, I change a colour of a stamp set and delete other colums after I let seller know that stamps were received. Sounds too complicated? It is worth it, and it takes time to set up an excel file, after that is really easy.
Here's some recent ones, and I've deleted the rest but will add them when I see their names

The list is HUGE compared to the rest of the posts, but these ladies were quick, honest and great communicators. I hope to do business with them again and many more of you. I LOVE this forum.

Forgot to mention I live in Canada and these ladies and others are special to all us Canucks here, and from other posts I've read I'm sure I can speak for us as a whole -right eh?
Subscribing! This is great information to have. Thank you ladies for sharing. I have only done a few trades on here and they have gone well. I wish that I could remember their names though.

I just love this board and everyone here has been super ~ hugs! I will post my (ahem, long!) list as soon as the last of the stamp sets arrive and I compile them together and figure it all out!
But I would love to give a special shout out to luvallthisstampin (Ang!) When I was searching desperately for a set, she came through and I cried happy tears when I got her Pm. Yes, I was teary eyed! LOL! I don't know if she will know the true meaning of how much it will mean to me - it wasn't "just another stamp set in the collection" but one that I will take with me to a special reunion and it will hold a special place for me. Sniff, sniff!
Maybe it would be shorter to list those who AREN'T good sellers!!!!
NO, I'M JUST KIDDING!!!!!
Wanda
I would hope that kind of list wouldn't have any names at all. Unfortunately, sometimes the communication breaks down between the seller and the buyer. I always like to think there are two sides to a story, and I don't necessarily think that it's always the seller's fault when a sale falls through, or it's the buyer's fault. Sometimes, the truth is somewhere in the middle.
I just did! I couldn't believe it! Said her husband doesn't want her to sell or buy any more stamps. So, why not complete this last transaction? It sounds a little fishy...more like seller's remorse! Doesn't leave me with a very good taste in my mouth.
I want to thank Mlhaun for keeping an eye out for the Martha Stewart scalloped heart punch. Shes been looking and looking for me and she came through. Just wanted to say you girls are great on here.
