Alright, I know all you fabulous ladies can help me out. We are taking a short trip to the Lake of the Ozarks Thursday-Monday. I can't tell you where I'm staying because I have no idea where the house is located but my dh promised me I'd have time to shopand that we weren't far from Osage Beach. What I want to know - is there a local scrapbooking or especially stamping/crafting store that I don't want to miss? I looked online and did see one scrapbooking store listed - just wanting some recommendations from people who have been or live in the area. Where should I be going if I want to get some cool stuff?
(I've been to the outlet malls before so I do know what's there - I was thinking along the lines of neat little local stores that are can't miss.)
There is only one scrapbook store located in Osage Beach now - it's in the Stonecrest Mall directly across from Target on Business 54. It's called Snaps to Scraps. She carries alot of paper and usually has fibers and goodies that you don't normally see in other stores. I haven't been in for awhile but the last time I was there she did not carry stamps.
We recently moved from Fort Leonard Wood, MO and whenever we went to the lake, I never found any stores.. then one day walking out of a Walmart I picked up a yellow pages book and found the store in it that the poster above mentioned.. it was late in the day so we headed back home.. but I did tell a friend about it and she went there, she just said that it was nice. Branson has two awesome stores, so if you are ever over in that neck of the Ozarks be sure to go to them. Pam

We lived on the lake for several years and were back there this summer...I don't know of a stamp/scrapbook store, but they used to carry stamps and supplies at Stonecrest Book and Toy in the Stonecrest Mall... also - not stamping related but there was a super cute Amish home deco store down on the Strip, and right next to that store is Osage Candle Factory, which is one of my favorite places to go.
Off the beaten path.

If you are familiar with the area it's just outside Eldon.
They have stamps (wood, non-mounted, cling) as well as other crafting supplies. Nice place to stop in.
