This is my favorite of the new sets. And yes, I got the catty today!!!! Whee! I love it that my demo lives across the street. Off to make my wish list...
I just picked up my catty from my demonstrator (in Canada) and OMG it is awesome!!!! I feel bad for you ladies who havent seen it yet ... hope they arrive soon for you all.
Kissy, can you describe the warm words, and how much is it? Also ladies someone is selling the new sweet shapes on ebay too... is that allowed?
It's currently at $15, how much is it?
No they're not allowed to sell anything current, which means they can't sell anything that is retiring in this catalogue until Saturday either. Well that's only if they're a demo, but if the already have Sweet Shapes then they must be a demo.
Warmest Words
wonderful, sparkle, giggle, be merry, adorable, cherish
happiness and welcome
If you don't already have Small Script I'd try to get it before the catty runs out, it would be a nice addition to this set!
I am a SU demonstrator & I have yet to receive my new catty!!! I found this info. on the SU website and was so excited I had to make a few phone calls!!!

Okay now I really want to see the catalog now. Sounds like there are alot of cool things I could want real bad... Probably don't really need but WANT real bad.
I am a SU demonstrator & I have yet to receive my new catty!!! I found this info. on the SU website and was so excited I had to make a few phone calls!!!

No worries Snoopy! There will be a GOOD chunk of "Mike's $$$" spent towards your business! And when he sees how much, this will be him:
I just need to make sure I save enough for MY vacation, instead of funding YOURS completely! Hee, hee!
~*Michelle*~ (Back to looking at my new catalog and making my list before I get ready for work......work, MAN! I wonder if they'd notice me looking at my catalog while I work?!?)
ndh619 you are absolutely amazing. I am grateful for your overview because I have not seen the catty yet which is good because I have a summer mid-term today and would probably even less focused.
I can't wait to see all the alphabets and the hostess sets. I am a sucker for hostess sets.
C'mon now! Where are all the fun posts? It was so much more fun last year, when I could read how much I was going to hate the [my beloved] gnome set or how ugly (haha) Farm Fever was, or how disappointed so many people were in the dog set (WHAT?). And Children of the Corn ... uh, Gansta Greetings ... I mean, Charming Children??? If there truly is a new set, let us hear how much you hate it!! I will have my catalog in a day or two, but last year I remember imagining everything and/or laughing over posts on SCS for nearly a week!
Actually, I think the new kids one is kind of a mix betwixt the children of the corn set and Everything Nice. There are two great jumbo wheels to match Simply Said which I didn't think had made it; however, no Dots & Daisies big background. I love how they broke the catalog down into sections with an actual cover page! Wait until you see the tails on the skunks and squirrel sets! Love the new paper! Love the new punches! Two new Halloween sets one with an owl and a sort of pumpkin and bat and the other is called Booglie Eyes where google eyes would be amazing on them all!

I have to wait on my demo to give me mine. What Stazon is there besides black & white? I saw some new colors in the store and I'm curious if the catty has them.
Is there really no point in ordering the new cattys on the first day that we can? I live in NC, ordered first day and mine still shows "submitted to supplier."
I have only had about 2 hours to look through the new catalog, but I know I will be getting the new colors true thyme and marigold morning to go along with the new set Serene Sunflower. I can hardly wait for July Stamp CLub! I already have many other sets picked out, but the sunflowers are number one with me. I hope the rest of you get your cattys soon. All work has come to halt at my house today. Maybe we can get Chinese carryout for dinner.

Forgot to answer the stazon question. SU is only showing black, timber brown, and white in the new catty along with those refills. Sorry no new colors.

No, there's no point in being the first to order. Cattys aren't sent out on a first come first served basis. When catties were sent directly from SU, they tried to it that way, but really had a hard time managing it. I called DS today and they explained it to me.
On June 20th or 21st when we all got shipment notices from Stampin up, that meant that our addresses and a huge lot of books were turned over to a 3rd party supplier for mailing. It didn't mean, as it usually does, that our books were really in the mail. Our information had simply been released from SU.
From there, the 3rd party supplier started addressing all the preorders and sent them out by region. The West Coast was sent first because it would take longer to get them there. So, all the preorders have now been sent out and are supposed to arrive BEFORE Saturday. Our free demo cattys are going out this week bulk mail, and are supposed to start arriving July 1st.
Also, we can get our catties without ever seeing a tracking number on OEX.Apparently the 3rd party is trying to input the tracking numbers, but not all have been done. If you're still "submitted to supplier" don't let that freak you out.
I was at HL and they have Cherry Pink, a lighter brown, and a turquoise.
I also saw a sample on here that someone used a lighter green Stazon. I guess I'll have to get those at HL.
I posted this a page or two ago, but nobody answered so I am going to try again....would anyone mind describing the new $11.95 and $12.95 sets? Someone said that there were a couple new ones of each....

If you name a couple of recent sets that in this price range Canadian folks with the catty will be able to figure out what that works out to in our pricing. Just a thought!

Thank you so much for that info. It would have been nice and probably saved them a lot of emails and calls had Stampin Up released this info on the site...but I guess they do not know what a bunch of crazy fanatics we all are and that all life as we know it has come to a stand still in anticipation of our stamp catalogues. My upline got hers today...maybe tomorrow for me!!

Amy,
I am going to try to help you out, but I can't really tell which ones are "new" for sure. Since there are a lot of sets that I never looked at more than once, I can never be sure if they are "new" or just look new to me because I didn't really "notice" them before. KWIM?
--"I Did It" is $12.95 that are 4 little stamps for the back of your cards.
--"Perennial Favorites" is $11.95 and has 4 stamps. Flower with Spring under, Butterfly with Summer under, Leaf with Autumn under and Snowflake with Winter under.
--"Season by Season" is $12.95 and has Autumn, Winter, Spring, Summer in a scripty font.
--"Stamped from the Heart" is $11.95 and has 4 little stamps for the back of your cards. "Created for You" (a heart), "Hand Stamped with Love" (flower pot), "Stamped from the Heart" (a bunny), and "Stamped with Sweetness" (candy piece).
--"Symbols of Solicitude" is $11.95 and has Asian symbols with their translations below. Peace, Faith, Joy, and Friendship. Looks just like "Kanji" in the old catalog, just new words/symbols.
--"Wishing you the Best" is $11.95 and it's the Ronald McDonald Set. They are circles that are solid with the following words/designs cut into them: Friend/Flower, Hooray/Balloon, Enjoy/Leaves, Wish/Shooting Star.
--"You're Neat" is $12.95 and has 3 different animals that are little line drawing style and the words "you're neat". The animals are: Bear holding a balloon, Tiger holding a pinwheel, and Monkey holding a kite. They are cute!
Hope this helps you out until you get your new catty! I know how much I appreciated everyone looking up the answers to my questions in their cattys! So this is my "payback" to the SCS community!

Ahh, good idea! Never even thought of that.... Thanks for the suggestion. Here's what we had in the 2005/2006 catalog for those amounts:
