So I was in Bed, Bath and Beyond a few days ago with a friend and she had like 6 20% off coupons - she bought 6 things, so they took 20% off of each one. Do stores like Michaels and AC Moore do this as well?
Someone tried this at Michaels yesterday. She was told the coupon clearly states one coupon per person per day. No stacking. Since the M's, ACM, JA coupons all say "one coupon per person per day" now, it's highly unlikely. I think at one point the coupon said one per person per transaction. If each item is rung up separately then each item would be a separate transaction.

Micheals and JoAnn's will take more than one coupon if they are different coupons. Like one from the mail and one from the local paper. At least my stores do. But i don't think they will take more than two coupons at a time.
I think it depends on the store also. They don't like for you to use two coupons and pay for your transactions using the same credit card back to back. So I might pay cash for one transaction and use my credit card for the second, that way if they are audited it doesn't look like they let you use two coupons when they are only suppose to let you use one.
LOL! This thread makes me laugh because the other day when I was at my local Michael's a big, burly construction guy walks into the store. Immediately, all heads were turned (he still had his hard hat on!). I watched him and he made a bee-line for a specific isle in the store, and after a minute, grabbed something off the shelf and proceeded to the checkout line with his coupon in hand which they accepted.
That being said, a little kid came in shortly afterwords and did they same thing. I don't know if they were related, but if they were, that woman was on a MISSION and she played by their rules! Only one coupon per customer!

I love the ingenuity!
My six year old loves being a 'customer'. If I drag him to M's or ACM with me, I usually have an extra coupon. Generally I am going there for something on sale anyway so he gets to pick what he wants with his coupon. Last time he picked out his own 'craft bucket organizer' for his work area. It was on clearance and they let him use the coupon. He stocked it with his markers & colored pencils.

My Michaels will take so far 3 of their coupons on one order. I had 3 50% off ones with me one day and the lady said I could use all three. I was thrilled.
Blessings.
Just today I used two 40% off coupons on two orders at Michaels. Once they made me get back in line but today I had a young girl who was enamored with my Iphone and she let me use both.

I think the multiple coupon thing differs according to store. I heard one salesperson explain to another that they could take more than one coupon as long as the AMOUNTS on the coupons differeed. Marlene
I used a 40% off coupon at Michaels Sunday, Oct. 26th and my 15% off coupon for my entire purchase at their Moonlight Madness sale. The girl took them with no problem. Bought the Treading Water punch at 40% off and other stuff and still used the 15% off which included the Treading Water, so I guess you could say I got that for 55% off.
