What I should have written, had I been awake, are there more stamps to choose from in this Sale A Bration? I've loved the ones I got in the past two years. I will be a hostess in February so that will be one more set.

I know what you meant, and like I said yes and no
you will have to wait until I think Dec 1, for demos to divulge

I am not too impressed with the few sets they are offering but I guess the good thing is they are offering certain priced sets from the regular catalogue as freebies. There is a nice edger punch and a pack of paper that might be useful, lol. In canada it is 65.00 I think that has gone up since last year and the year before.

I actually think that is lower. In the past, I thought Canadians had to spend $75 to get a free set.
I have looked at some australian demos blogs and am wondering if their mini is the same as ours. Most of the stuff in theirs is already in our regular catty. I sure hope ours is different!!

I've seen it. There are (I think) 4 sets, a very large pack of paper, a punch, and the opportunity to get certain sets out of the main catty. There may be more but my memory fails me!!

When you get free stamps are they mounted or unmounted? (without the wood?)
For the 4 new SAB sets, you have the option of wood or unmounted (clear mounts). For the other sets from the regular catalog, they are just the usual wood mount option.

What kind of punch and tell us more about the paper!!
BJM
It's a scallop trim border punch. Really cute. Trying to find a sample online that I can post.
The paper is a 6 x 6 pack of 72 sheets total: 3 ea. of 24 double-sided designs. 6" x 6" called Welcome Neighbor. Houses, clouds, trees, then some coordinating designs on the other side. Main colors Pumpkin Pie, Bermuda Bay, Crushed Curry, Melon Mambo, Old Olive, Kraft, Pretty in Pink
We can't post the links until they go live Jan 5. But as of Dec 1 we can post descriptions and photos of our projects. Some girls have received their preorder - so start looking in the gallery - SU galleries/minicatalogs and previews. There is stuff up already.

There won't be online links to the catalog until the actual earning period starts. You can contact your demo for a paper copy or if you are on her mailing list, you should receive it in the next couple weeks.
I saw my demo's SAB brochure, and I'm a little confused by the wording...it seems to imply that you need to choose a stamp set (or item) from the SAB brochure first, and then "if you spend an additional $50," you can choose one from the regular catalog. Does anyone know about this?

This was just clarified for us by SU. You do not have to choose an SAB item first.
Someone posted the links on this thread in General Stamping, post #65 (it's the thread entitled New Mini 2010). The thread has been bumped down the the second page due to postings to other threads. Forums at Splitcoaststampers
Glad Lynn's question was answered. I too read the SAB catalog and thought the wording was a little vague. Happy to hear you can choose a set from the regular catalog as your first "freebie." Thanks for the info. It does seem like a nice selection to choose from. I love that punch.

I love the punch too! There are lots of great choices!! My wish list is very long
Do all of you have your new mini catalogs now? We haven't seen them yet in MN! It is so frustrating. I am in 3 seperate SU clubs, and don't have catalogs yet! One demo sent me online links to them, and said that Su was late in mailing them. Seems like poor sales management to me ad it is very frustrating.
I love SU and most of their products, but these past few months I can't say I like the way they treat their customers very well. Poor communication - and to start this big sale and withhold actual catalogs from their customers?! It is just frustrating!
Please don't get me wrong... I am NOT an SU basher! I have never said a bad word about SU before. I will continue to purchase SU stuff because I love it. But I am very frustrated that being a good customer of SU, I still don't have the new catalogs in hand. Seeing them online is just not the same thing.
I have only gotten my sale-a-bration catalog. I got it the middle of last week. I have read on the board in different spots that a lot of us are still waiting!
I've gotten both of SU's new catalogs via U.S. mail (first I received the Sale-A-Bration) and yesterday I received the Occasions mini catalog. What I love the most are the new sentiment stamp sets in both catalogs as well as the new punches. Also there is a really great looking polka dot textured embossing folder in the mini-occasions catalog which I'm ordering. My wish list is very long and my husband is cringing as I hover over the catalogs.
Happy New Year!
Finally got the mini but not the sale catalog yesterday. There are SO many things I like in this one! Just sent in my first of many orders to come I fear! LOL I love that new butterfly embosslet die! I have seen it used and it is awesome. I also love that new bird punch and Vintage stamps set and roller stamp! Got to try out several things last night at my demo's monthly class. Not too crazy about the papers, but that is only a small thing. Way too many thing I do love.
