Missouri City was my stomping grounds growing up...but didn't know they had a LSS. Darn. Would have been a great excuse to travel down memory lane in so many ways.

I am so sorry to hear that...it seems like all the little places we love are closing...all that will be left is on line and our big box stores for shopping...the personal touch and caring will really be missed. Hello Miss Billie..
blessings.
I rarely go to Sugarland, but this makes me sad, too. I hope when/if the economy turns around we can have more locally owned and operated stores to give our business to!
If you haven't been to Sugar Land in a while - you may not recognize it. We've gotten to the point that we rarely leave any more. Everything is here. Okay - Scrapbook Village was down the road in Missouri City but that's not really leaving
I'm going to miss the shop. It was a great place to just drop in and see what's going on, too. Familiar and friendly faces. Great classes! Cool displays. Kathy and Phyllis and the gang will be sorely missed. ARC had just voted them Employer of the Year (or Month - I don't remember exactly).
Ahh, that is sad! I kinda' thought they may be ready to be done by the conversation I had a year ago with them. It is a whole lotta' work. We only have one left in my area and one stamp store. Business is good but when you have to have continual classes and events, it does wear you out.
