Has anyone ever attended one of these? They are having one in Colombia, SC next month and I can't decide if it is worth the 4 hour drive
Have the classes been worthwhile
Has the vendor hall been exciting?
Would you go again?
I can't find any conferences in NC and would like to learn a few new techniques, plus find new products and vendors but never seem to be at the right place.
I used to go to the QuiltFest in Williamsburg and of course the one year they had scrapbooking, I wasn't interested. Now that i am interested, I can't find any near by
Hope you have a wonderful time. If you have any Must Sees or demos you wouldn't want to have missed, can you let me know? I guess I will be going in February - thanks to your feedback. Always "need" an excuse to find more "gatta haves!"
No I don't think there are any 'must see' demos. We just go from booth to booth watching the demos and then looking at all the products. I can take awhile but it is worth it.
Also bring plenty of cash. Some booths don't take credit cards!
I attended the one in Chattanooga last October, we went to the Friday night party, had a great time make and takes, browsed all day Saturday, not a lot of vendors, but ones there had more than enough to buy.. I did damage to my plastic...we will go again...Susie

I went to the one in Chattanooga TN Last year too... I didnt take any classes but the vendors had alot to choose from... Chattanooga is Hosting this one again this year in October and we are having one in September called the Great American Scrapbook Convention... has anyone ever been to it? I cant wait to go
I went to the one this company sponsored in NJ in April and had a blast! I had never been to anything like it. Unfortunately I didn't go on Friday night to the classes, but still got to see lots of demos on Sat and Sun. The NJ one only had about 35 vendors, which people said wasn't very many. It worked for me. I was a happy camper, since it seemed to be all more related to stampers/card makers rather than scrapbookers. I spent a bundle, but don't regret it. I will certainly go next year when it comes here.
Above comments are just my opinions and may not be shared by others who attended the same show/location.
