When you post a link, sometimes SCS will "import" the "name" of the website and format it so you just click on the site name rather than a whole long link- but it looks that that website had some weird code going on which is what got imported as the title. You did it right. You can click all that gobbledygook and it will still work.
Diane,
A PM is what we use here on Splitcoaststampers to send a PRIVATE MESSAGE to someone. Just go to the person's User name ( on any thread ) you want to send a PRIVATE MESSAGE ( PM ) and LEFT CLICK on the person's name.
When you LEFT-CLICK on the Person's USER NAME ( my SCS (Splitcoaststampers) USER NAME is : redcaboose1717....So, if you wanted to send me a PM, you would just slide over to the USER NAME ( redcaboose1717) and then LEFT CLICK on the USER NAME. WHEN you have done that a few choices pop up, one being a private message ) THEN Click on PM ( private message, and a box will come up ( blank )
YOU THEN put your private message in the blank space. AFTER you typed your PM, you then go to the bottom of the message you typed, (you will see little icons you can use) AND BELOW that there's a little box ( to the left) that says ?
"submit Reply" or to the right " Preview Post" ( you can click on "Preview Pst " to overlook your post, prior to sending it. ONCE you have previewed your post, you can then send it on its way to the person you PM-ed..
HAVE FUN....and oh, by the way, I just PM-ed you !
Go to the top of this page, where you "logged IN" RIGHT BESIDE your USER NAME (in red ) there's a little envelope.....click on that to retrieve your "PM's" and any other messages someone might send you !
Again, I just sent you a PM !!.....::p
