I can only imagine how massively inundated with orders they must be. I have no official word, mind you...I just know what happens with these going-out-of-business sales. Hopefully somebody has heard something that could post something here...
I placed orders on 2/16 and 2/20 and called them a few days ago... they said they are in the plant being made and they would ship soon... they were bombarded with orders and we will all just have to be patient.
I just received my order the other day - I want to say I ordered it in the second week of February. I had emailed them inquiring about my order and got an email back saying that they were unprepared for all the orders they received (I'm sure thanks to Splitcoast!) but they would fill every order before they closed. I'm still shocked that they are closing and hoping either someone picks up a similar product or they come back in some way - I love my H2O's and use them constantly.
I emailed them to try and cancel the order. Didn't hear anything then checked credit card and a charge was on there. So I guess I will get my order eventually.
I placed my order 3/2 and am still waiting. My card was just recently charged. They sent out an email saying that it would be a while and that they were actually still manufacturing the Twinkling H2Os (instead of selling ones already made and running out etc). Maybe if we keep ordering things the economy will pick up and they wont go out of business
Oh my Gosh - I totally forgot that I placed an order until I saw this! Wow - life's been crazy.. I ordered on 2/18 and was charges around the 1st of March but nothing yet. Soon though, I'm sure.
i placed my order on 7 Mar 08 and they finally charged my card on 20 Mar 08 so it was a little less than two weeks. maybe they are finally getting things rolling? i love their pigments and can't wait to get my order. i am thinking of taking a second plunge.
Just a thought about the manufacturing process...Since Luminarte is not selling off old stock (because it's now gone) and is making new batches of the H20's, think about it... Most of us ordered multi-colored packs and there are what 120 colors? That means that each color has to be mixed and set up on the filling machine, complete the run, teared down and most likely the machine has to be cleaned before the next color can be set up. And I read somewhere that it takes several days for the paints to dry before then can put the caps on. With their short staff, I'm not surprised with the time it is taking to fill 4000+ orders. I'm just going to be patient because I know they are worth the wait. JMHO.
Okay, just checking in. Still don't have an order or any email or anything. Card was charged on Feb 19. Getting a little anxious here. Maybe they should of done a mass email or an announcement on their web site, about delays. This is a bit much. I realize that they are making more product and that it takes time, but really.
I would give them a call. I had called them about my order turns out they transcribed my shipping info incorrectly off my email so shipping was delayed. Once I called them and they made the correction i received my package within days. If I haden't called I would probably still be waiting.

Just wanted to let everyone know that my Twinks arrived this morning.
The invoice was dated 2/28 (I think I ordered on 2/24) and the amount charged for postage was less than what it actually cost them to mail the package to me. They have to be working from estimates I guess.
I am so glad to get these to complete my collection and very sad that this wonderful company is closing. I hope everyone will be patient with them- they really are having a rough time. I never got any confirmation emails or anything- I'm glad I just trusted them- they came through.
BTW- they are so swamped that my package was handwritten- no label. Also, it came Priority Mail.
I ordered mine around the 15th of March and haven't received it yet. I did get an email on the 25th of March saying that they had been swamped with orders and that it was going to take a little longer to process. I called this morning to check on the progress and she told me that my order was process on the 4th of April and it would be up to 4 weeks until I received it.
They only have 5 people working on filling each and every little jar of paint, so I can only imagine having to fill the 1500 orders that they have received!!! I asked if they were recondsidering staying in business but she told me that the orders have already fallen way off again, so unfortunately the answer is no :( . So, if you have ordered around the same time as I did, don't fear, it is in the works!
i ordered feb 17 and im still waiting..very patiently for my order...wow would i love to have it by now though
I ordered around the 19th of Feb and nothing here either. I'm going to check my PO Box today but if there's nothing yet, I'm going to call them. I'm a little disappointed that some people who ordered in March have recieved thiers before I recieved mine since I ordered at least a week earlier. kwim?
My friend and I both ordered in February and neither one of us have heard anything. Guess maybe we should call. I hate to bother them, but I am beginning to wonder.
i had sent an email and they told me:
Your order was processed on 3/7/09 this is the date that it went out to
manufacturing to be built. We are now running a minimum of 4 weeks from the
date that your credit card is charged for shipping. Sorry for the delay

I suspect how much you ordered and how many different colors are in the orders will affect how long it takes to fill them.
I placed my order also in Feb, I received an email shortly after that saying my credit card # was wrong. So.I forgot about the order. I noticed on March 27 they charged my credit card, so I called yesterday. I spoke with someone at the office. She told me that my order was in the factory now being made and will be shipped as soon as it is done. So yes they are still proceesing all of the orders they have rec'd

We at LuminArte want to thank you for your patience in receiving your orders.
This is an important update, All orders placed in February thru middle March should be received by you in the next 7 days. If you do not receive your shipment, please email to [email protected] and cc [email protected]. We will track your package at that point.
All orders received Mid-March thru mid April will be shipped within 10 days.
We thank you so much for your support, and we apologize for any confusion and lack of timeliness.
Again, we had a skeleton crew, just enough people to close down the warehouse when we made our announcement to you folks.
Everyone has been working around the clock in order to manufacture and ship your orders! We did not expect this much response.
We will be taking orders over the next couple of weeks...the waiting time should not be very long if you place an order, as things have started to slow down now...
Again, we hope to have our luscious products resurface, with a few NEW ones we have created, that are not even on the market yet... sometime in the future.
There are no guarantees in today's world, as you all know.
We will make sure and keep you updated. If you would like to be kept 'in the loop' make sure and check the box when you order telling us it is okay to email you.
As of today, we have over 1800 people who have either purposely, or by accident opted not to be communicated with. We hope this update reaches everyone who is waiting for an order...
i ordered my second one 2/12 - charged 2/26 and got mine last week. i think new orders will be quicker. i hope to place one last one before they go completely down.....
