I have always wanted to try these and just never have.. Can someone tell me how far those little pots go?? Like would they last a long time if I had a bunch of different colors and used them semi refularly?
Also if you had to choose (not being able to get them all) are there some that you would suggest more than others... It looks like there are some richer colors and some pastel type colors...
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.. Also, do you suggest any of their other products? >inquiring minds< Thanks Ladies!!
I don't use mine regularly (I don't create regularly and seem to use different supplies each time I make something) so my pots have lasted a long time. I did manage to almost empty one color but only because I chose to use it for a large area because I had the same color in a larger pot.
I'm sure others will chime in about their uses to help answer that question.
As for which colors to choose, it really depends on what you anticiapte using them for. I stocked up on various shades of blues and greens (sky and grass "scenes"), plus pinks, purples, reds and yellows (flowers). I also have a few shades of brown, at least one white and a large pot of China Black. I haven't used the white or black yet but didn't want to risk not having basic, neutral colors. I also have the irridescent shades + oyster.
This is the e-mail I got from them on Monday April 13th. Please be patient with them they went back and made new batches because they had so many orders.

This is an important update, All orders placed in February thru middle March should be received by you in the next 7 days. If you do not receive your shipment, please email to [email protected] and cc [email protected]. We will track your package at that point.

Everyone has been working around the clock in order to manufacture and ship your orders! We did not expect this much response.
We will be taking orders over the next couple of weeks...the waiting time should not be very long if you place an order, as things have started to slow down now...
Again, we hope to have our luscious products resurface, with a few NEW ones we have created, that are not even on the market yet... sometime in the future.
There are no guarantees in today's world, as you all know.
We will make sure and keep you updated. If you would like to be kept 'in the loop' make sure and check the box when you order telling us it is okay to email you.

Those little pots last a LOOONG time, seriously. I still have my very first one and use them quite alot when im stamping. I would recomend a gold shade, a green, a pink, a blue, and oyster if you just wanted a few. You can brush gold over anything to add a little shimmer to your project. If you want to get all involved and paint with them, you are going to need more colors though.

Am I reading this wrong? Are they going to stay in business?
Am I reading this wrong? Are they going to stay in business?
I didnt take it as they were staying in business, but I do see them keeping their options open. At least I hope they come back in a year or two when the economy is better.

How could there be such an outpouring? My LSS had it for six months and sold like two of them. The problem was the twinkling H2O's didn't twinkle as much as Tattered Angles, which didn't twinkle as much as the hack liquid that Tim Holtz made on his site with a spritzer from Jo Ann's and his pearlescent pearls

The H2o's that everyone is stocking up on is not a liquid. Are all those products you mentioned liquid? I could be wrong here?
I personally think they are super sparkly and very easy to use that is why I am getting them. I have been using them for about three years now and even my girls love using them. One of my fav products for sometime now.
it's funny i actually discussed this on my blog. there are so many ways to get shimmer out there. here are my thoguhts on this whole phenomenon.
1. the price was kinda high before the 40% off so i had been putting off ordering.
2. many people had some already but not all and want to be sure to get the rest while they still can
3. these offer ALOT of shimmer in far more colors than aot of the other options in the CAKES of watercolor, which can then be used to make a shimmer mist (tho i am a die hard timm shimmer girl and have not compared them.) i personally don't like the glimmer mist and glimmer mist can only be one thing, glimer mist.
i have a feeling any of these sales would have taken place eventually throughout the course of a year or more but because of the sudden time constraint me and others made room for them in the budget now and put other things on hold. just my thinking on the whole craziness.....

Yep, I agree. The price on the Twinkling H20s was a bit high, so I didn't buy many. A couple year's ago, four of us went in on some and split them up (this was at a rubber stamp convention and if you bought three 6-packs, you got one free). Anyway, since that time, I've bought a few more here and there. When I heard they were going out of business, I checked out their website (which I had never done before) and was sold on many of their other products, as well as the H20s. I bought some of each -- the price of 40% off was great and I didn't want to risk not having their fabulous products. Of course, the more I think about it, the more afraid I am of not having enought and wanting to place my fifth order! I only ordered 2-24 packs and added to the 20 that I already have, I'm beginning to think that isn't near enough! I keep hoping to get at least one of my other orders, but haven't yet, but didn't place my first until March 11, so I'm not worried. Also, it's nice to see that a lot of the orders placed have been received.
Hopefully, the company will come back in some form later, but for now, I'm stocking up and not counting on it. And even if they do come back, the price won't be 40% off, so now is the time to take advantage of the price and get some great product!

just ordered all the spritzers...thanks for the heads up!! Me gonna have fun with these when they come I am SURE. Talk about an addict...thats me for sure!!!!!!!!! ekc
I have always wanted to but these and never did because there was always something else I needed more, so I had never tried them... Now I think with the company going out, allt he people that were sitting on the fence and had never taken the plunge to try them combined with all the people that had.. are all ordering to get them or stock up and that's probably why it has been so busy for them... If you are like me, you never want to miss out on something and especially when you see it is going away and is on SALE!!! LOL We are what "Marketing" hopes for.. LOLOLOL
I can't wait to get mine and give them a try, wish I had been able to order more!!
another day and I'm still stalking my mail lady...
Me too and I'm running out of patience. I know they will come but jeez, I ordered in the middle of Feb. and paid on March 3rd. I recieved the e-mail that they should arrive by the end of this week but still...I could drive 3 hours and be where they make them so why do I not have my order yet?! I know they had to make them from scratch and then there were bad batches... It's just getting aggravating. >> Thanks or letting me vent. I'm off to wait awhile longer. :(

Day 5...MY TWINKLES ARRIVED! Got to hurry up and finish the household stuff so I can play!!!!
Hooray!
mine are soaking now while i finish my shipping for the day and should be good and goopy by the time pez goes down for her nap!! Now if only my next order would arrive....
hugs
M
The day they sent that email stating that if we ordered by mid March (the 15th I assume) that we would get them in the next 7 days...I counted mail days, which put the deadline on Tuesday the 21st. I ordered on Mar 10, so I really am hoping to see these by Tuesday.
They also stated that if we don't we should email and they can track at that point. I hope it doesn't come to that for most of us.

Oh by the way, Hey Jenny! How's it going?
Hey there! I'm doing great! And you? It's so good to "see" you - it's been awhile. {{{HUGS}}}
I too have started stalking the mailperson-nothing even today and I ordered about 2/18 and then again Early March. Maybe they're putting our plural orders together?? Oh well, guess it gives us something to look forward to in the mail besides bills. Here's hoping----

I hope they're still accepting orders. I have a bunch of the tiny pots but I'd better order big jars of my favorites. Off to take a mini inventory of my twinklies!
I just thought that I would let everyone know that I finally got my order of H20's yesterday.......... Boy was I a happy camper..... because I was beet a chance to play ginning to think that I would never get them........ Didn't get a chance to play with them yet.
