I don't usually get this lucky but in the recent Joann's flier my scratch off coupon was 80% off one item!
I just wanted to alert all of you so if you get the fliers, you won't just toss yours like I almost did! It's been sitting on my counter for days, and I finally took a peek. I just expected the normal coupons and didn't even know what I was scratching for when I started scratching. When I saw 80%, I looked at the ad closer. The scratch off is for 40, 50, 60, 70, or 80% off one item.
It excludes the normal stuff like Cricut, yada, yada. But I'm looking online and I see a piece of organizational furniture for $200, in select stores, that I could snag for $40! I am going tomorrow to see if one of my two stores has this beauty in stock. If not, I'm almost willing to drive miles to one that does!
The scratch-off coupon sale is NEXT weekend, Aug 20-22. It's for in-store only. Did anyone else receive this?!? I'm still flabbergasted and had to send out an alert!
You might ask and see if your store will order the item to be sent to their store. You can use your coupon and pay in advance. I've done it with two 50% cpns for OTT light replacement bulbs in the past. The JoAnns closest to me allows three Michaels and three JoAnns (and three Beverlys) coupons per transaction. It's worth a shot, especially for that coupon!
Thanks I didn't see that. I have not been to Joanns in months. Every time I have gone in the past the entire store is on sale at 30% off or less and I can't use the coupon.
I have a 70% off. I just looked through the flyer and It looks like everything in the store is on sale again. If I am driving past the store I may go in, and use it on a soft drink.

Good Luck!

Wow my Joanns gives me a hard time about using "one" coupon. They call getting something from another store a special order and won't take a coupon on it. Which is why I no longer go there. 11 months ago I asked them to get an item for me( at regular price) from a different store I have yet to get it. I gave up calling to see if it was in.
my joanns is pretty nice. unlike mikes and HL, if the item i want is on sale for like 30% off, they will let me use a coupon for 40% instead. i do have a lot of hurdles if i want to luck out with that organizer though i realize. i will keep you posted!
Great coupon! I am ignoring coupons at the moment. I have been on a 3 month shopping spree. lol, getting into stamping is expensive! Lucky for me my hubby doesn't really mind but my conscious does...
Mine was 50% off, it is good to know the higher ones really exist!
i know, right? i always wonder if there are really high ones b/c i usually do not get them.
how about those kohls' 15, 20, 30% coupons all the time? those drive me crazy. feel like i'm playing the lottery once a month with those silly things...scratchin off cards at the check out hoping it's better than the 15 i got in the mail. geez.....
ooo cool, thanks for link to discussion. i also wondered about it being to high but it would be too much of a deal for me to care, LOL
You're welcome ... there might be another thread too (it usually happens because there's so much info available on SCS it's sometimes hard to find so another thread gets started, kwim?)
Whatever you use your coupon on I hope you enjoy it!

LOL too funny. We just got a 20% this last time in the mail and have gotten 30% quite a few times before.. used it on a vacuum, tennis shoes for back to school and little one's ,4, favorite "underwear".
As for JoAnns.. I got 60% which isn't bad. Nice to see there is an 80 or two out there. have no clue what i'm going to get. Need to find out what my mom got. ;)

ha, ha, ha....my 4 year old was begging me for some underwear last time we were there too. that's so funny.... but i didn't have a 30% so he didn't get any, LOL. i scratched 15% at the checkout, boooooo
My DH and I really like Kohl's but almost feel insulted if we get the lowest percentage off so we wait for the next mailer. By the 2nd or 3rd mailer it seems our percentage off has increased and when it is 30% or higher we go shopping.
But it seems Jo-Ann's takes you off their mailing list if you don't shop frequently so that may just involve more luck.
I saw the craft center you want at my M's last week for $129.00. If they accepted your 80% off, it would cost you $25.80 + tax. Think it could happen?
Wow! Well, I did not see it at our Mike's. That would be awesome! Wherever the coupon would be used, I'm sure it would be off of the normal price, no sales prices. After scoping out, we have ONE unit in my town. It's priced normal at $200. Now I just have to stew and wait til Friday open to see if my little plan will work.
And DH wonders where we are going to put this if I get it. I know where but who cares if I didn't, ha, ha, ha!
I have been looking for 12x12 storage for my new stamp room for months. I hope my patience pays off. As for the top, it may be high. I may use it for my Xyron laminator, something I don't need often but like to have out. I am homeschooling my two boys this year for pre-k and I can use all the organizational items I can find. I already had tons of stamp stuff to organize but add to the room school supplies and organization will be key to keeping things going smoothly!
Ramble, ramble....
I'm glad we are finding our coups! My friends here haven't gotten theirs. I hope some are still coming.
I found it at M's with the Lexmark cubes. the cubes are found near the scrapping merchandise, BUT then on the other side of the store is a complete aisle of Lexmark and your Crafting Center. It was on the bottom shelf and the $129.00 was marked on the shelf as the regular price. M's has 25% entire purchase until 8 pm today. If the clerk was very cooperative then you would pay $19.35 + tax. That is probably too much to hope though.

Thank you, thank you for the details. I sure didn't scour the store. I just looked at the scrapbooking storage. I think I will call or go back and see! Now that would be incredible! Thanks again!
I'd come to Georgia if it weren't several states down, LOL. ;)
No. I never get the mailers , just the emails. If I had and it was 80% off, I'd be in the car on my way to battle with M's to get the very same item. I really looked at it long and hard at 40% last week. I did just leave a message at my SIL's to see if she still has her mailer though.
I really want you to get one! Then I can vicariously enjoy it.

No sure if this would be the same or not. Several months ago I had a 60% off Michael's coupon, since I knew I what I wanted & M's didn't carry it I wernt to JoAnn's to use the coupon and make my purchase. At that time JoAnn's was set up to honor 50% or less. No idea if the reverse would apply in trying to use a higher percentage off coupon that M's normally offers?!?!?!
Perhaps someone can shed some light, I know we have several members who are employeed by Michael's.
