I went to Joanns today to pick up some punches ( which I got everything but lol) and they had some of their spellbinders on clearance for 5.97. They also had some of their cuttlebug folders for .99 cents and the 4 packs for 4.97. Not sure if it was just my Js or everywhere. but I got some good deals. And a chance to get some eco friendly detergent from there on clearance for .50 for 3 1oz detergents and 3 1oz fabric softener. So six packets for .50. I brought them all. lol. But thought I would share the good deals I found.
It was a surprise find for the spellbinders. I almost didn't see it had my son not picked up the last card on the rack of one. Then I looked for more. I was surprised to see them have so many in stock since it is a smaller Js.
Thanks!!!! I went today and got 6 spellbinders for $5.97 and a cuttlebug companion set for $4.95 and some stamps for .50 and $1. I probably would have found more stuff if my 3 year old was more cooperative!

I got nesties for 5.97, they had fiskars punches for 3.97 & 4.97. I only got one of these - most were sold out. The embossing folders were gone but I did get a cuttlebug Embossing plus - the fancy tags that cut and emboss at the same time - this was 5.97. Several sets of stamps for 97 cents. Also some Sizzix dies at some really great prices.
I also had a "take an additional 20% off" coupon that I found on Retailmenot. So that made my bargains even better.

I went to Joann's after work - now $28.00 lighter but got 3 nesties for $5.97, 2 border punches $3.97, 1-8pc. birthday stamp set, #9 potion (don't know how to use it but it was only 97 cents) and a 10 pack of sewing needles. Live in CT and traveled over to RI to visit a big Joann's. Spent time picking out which Spellbinders I wanted for $5.97 only to get to check out and find them ALL (clearanced that is) sold out. Bitterly, I reminded them that there were plenty of cards still left out on the display ...
The sales person who was a day over 16 said nothing - except he believed all the clearance Spellbinders were now gone ... nothing more. Then to add insult to injury he tore a 50% off coupon in two pieces (which I unknowingly attempted to use on a already discounted Jenni Bowlin punch.) When I asked for the coupon back he said he guessed he could tape it back together. At first I said yes tape it (perhaps to use at Michaels) but in the end I said never mind. It was not a shining day at the Joann's for me.
However I did buy some of the paper and embellies from the Daydream collection by Heidi Grace for Fiskars all at 40% off. Even tho Heidi is not designing for Fiskars any longer it's nice stuff.
I made the one hour trip each way, and found only one Spellbinders left that was on clearance. Thought I was so lucky that they had one left. Took the card to the register, only to be told there were none left. They were sold out. Aaaaccckkk.

I went to the Joanns near my house over the weekend and all of these deals were gone---which is to be expected at those prices. I noticed in the latest Joanns catalog that came in the mail yesterday, Joanns is going to start selling some of these standard Spellbinders dies as a package deal---3 different die sets per pack. I suppose this is a great idea if you're just starting out but, for someone like me, most times those packaged sets are useless to me as I usually have at least one (maybe two) of the die sets already. Also, I don't know if this is true for any of the Joanns stores where you shop but, the one that I go to always seem to have the same dies---for like years. They never seem to get any of the new styles in, just always the same old selection.
Thank you for posting about this deal. I went to my Jo-Ann's the spellbinders weren't posted as clearance in the aisle but they were behind the registers and they had 8 different nesting die sets. I purchased 7 different sets since I already had one.

This is how I bought my circles and scallop circles. But this was on Ebay a few years back. Those packs used to be very expensive.
