My tiny card company that me and a girlfriend started a little over a year ago is hitting national TV. We made a custom invitation for an episode of "Outrageous Kid's Parties". Here is the listing on TLC website for the episode it is "Aniston's Rock Star Party" check your local listings
Congrats to you!!!
That show is just sad and disgraceful in these hard times, BUT LOL I will sure watch to see your invitation
Congrats and good luck with your company
Thanks, I totally agree especially since we traded our services for the exposure and weren't actually paid. But we will take what we can get, thanks again for the support.

Just as a side note, the only thing I was wondering about is if that is your customer's real phone number and e-mail address showing on the invitation. If it were me, I would be pretty unhappy that these would be published for those I did not intend to see them.
I was just thinking the same thing. You have now shown everyone those people's info. Address and phone. If it were me, I'd be a little unhappy about that too. But your invites are wonderfully done!! Congrats on the exposure.
Thank you all for the support. The personal info was slightly altered for privacy reasons as is with all our samples. I actually had to check with my partner as she has the jump drive of the original. So thank you for the reminder as we are new to this.

Wow!!! How awesome!!! The kids must have been soooo excited a "Rock Star Party" and being on T.V. what a coop!!! Your card is great!!! Hope everyone had a blast and congrats to you all!!! :O))) A Happy Very Belated Birthday to the B-day girl!!! :O)))
I saw the promos for this show and said I'd not be watching that wastefulness. What are they teaching these kids! Anyway, congrats to you and I'll watch just to see if they 'show'case your really cute invite.

I gotta agree with redbugdriver, I was pretty horrified when I started reading the premise of the TV show....honestly? Someone would do that for a child's party? I bet they spent more than some people spend on their own weddings! BUT the invite was cute as can be and I hope that our OP reaps LOTS of great publicity from it and hopefully a lot of new business as well! Since b-day invites can definitely set the tone for a fun event! Jan
I watched, they didn't mention it, & the girl was such a brat, she did not deserve that party! the invite was the best thing at the party LOL.
the show could be better, prolly won't last long!
Joan- that's hilarious!! Thanks to everyone who did watch but no the invite didn't receive any air time :( It was quite disappointing as we weren't in the credits as promised either. But we live and learn, I do deeply appreciate everyone's support. Thanks again!

Was the agreement in writing? and was it with the parents or the tv network? I'm not a sue happy person, but small claims court would be a consideration of mine right now.
Wasn't the premise of the show to brag about how much they spent on the party? Why then did they not pay for the invites? And give credit? What else did they not pay for to be on a reality show about extravagant and expensive parties? If they didn't pay then it isn't a "real"ity over the top party is it? Such is the case in reality TV. And they probably didn't pay anywhere near what they claim the party cost. So sad that this is what TLC (The Learning Channel, really???) is promoting now when so many people are losing their homes, jobs etc., cannot afford to pay bills, buy food and necessities. Bad taste imo. They would do better to show ways to help in these times.
But, your invite is great and hope that you get more business!
