At least someone loves me!! I finally got something better than the 26.4 dialup that I had. I am smoking now. No more playing games waiting for the pages to load. I am so excited!!

It took them forever to get out to me. They just updated the equipment about two weeks ago. I about mauled the guy working on the big box along the road with kisses when he told me I could get it!

I'm so jealous. I've been waiting for it to get to me too. I call Qwest monthly. I live 4 miles out of town. They can reach 2 miles but they say, keep checking back....and I do.
I'm there with you sister! My dial up only ever gets max 26,400 and it is AWFUL! I can get DSL but we may be moving soon plus I was waiting for the price of it to come down in our area. Now I can get it from SBC Yahoo for $26.95 a month but now I have to wait until I move! GRRR may have to be my Christmas present to myself!

Yup, 26.4 was all I got. Broadband is miles away at this point from my cable company. A competing cable company is only 1/2 miles away but they said they couldn't cross lines as of yet. When I saw the Qwest guy working on the big box, I had a hunch something was up. I hated to switch from Earthlink but they don't have a contract with Qwest in my town for DSL......so msn.com is it. Spent several hours today updating all the online places I belong with my new address.

hey the cable is right across the road from us but they WON'T leat us tap into it :( It is so depressing not to get anything "fast" out here when there is a cable just past the gravel road :(
