Although this has nothing to do with scrapbooking I just thought I would give my opinion of the Craft & Flower Warehouse in Blue Ball because there has been a lot of information going around about them going out of business. I just came back from there and their selection of beeds is fabulous. They have really gotten a lot of new items in and when I asked the girl at the cash register she told me they were not closing. She said since that news came out about them closing their business has slacked off. Their bead shop is better than A. C. Moore and Michael's as of this date.
People who work there told me about it directly, and I found out others had also heard this. I'm glad to hear they're not closing, but IMO their business has slacked off because they had no inventory. This was true when I went in August and was more true, unfortunately, when friends went in October. I lvoe going but a 5 hour drive to find less than an LSS here does not make for a happy DH.
Mark your calendars for Barbara's Stamping Delight's annual stamp sale, benefit chicken BBQ, and yard sale on Friday, July 10, and Saturday, July 11. Everything in her stamp store will be 10% off. Great time to stock up on cardstock, envelopes, sticky strips, Primas, embellishments, etc. And if you stop by, please introduce yourself. I'll be working in the store both days helping Barbara out.
DARN!! I miss it again this year! :( Friends will be here through the 11th, but I do plan on going back there sometime this summer for another fun-filled shopping trip!
I was at L and L Rubber Stamps today and she is now carrying some Copics and refills. I haven't ventured into Copics yet, but I think that they were $4.45 per marker and $5.10 for the refills? She doesn't have a huge display, but she has some. I think she wants to see how they do before ordering massive quantities. She also has Kaiser pearls, rhinestones, flowers and paper now.

Were you there on Saturday?? My mom and I were there too. Didn't buy any Copics, but I did get myself some more Nestabilities. I love her new place.
Location: On my sunporch- stamping and creating. Enjoying the view :)

Thanks for the updates about L & L, I was there about 2 weeks ago and she was talking about putting a copic order in. I can't wait to go see what she has.
L & L Stamping has a few of the new nesties in. She had large labels, small labels, a sunflower set, labels 1, labels 2 and the pinking circles (in addition to almost all of the regular shapes). She wasn't able to get a lot of the new sets in since most of them are still on backorder, but she has a few. They're $16.95 per set. I got Labels 1 and Labels 2 nesties this morning and wanted to pass on the news for everyone in the area.

L and L Rubber Stamps and Scrapbooking is the full name of the store. It's located in Ephrata off of 222. It is owned and operated by a Mennonite women out of her house so she doesn't have a web page or anything like that. Mostly she gets new business by word or mouth and I don't think that she advertises anywhere. The address/phone/hours are listed below. I live pretty close and love her store. She has great prices, a little bit of everything, normally has more of the newest things (nesties, cb folders, copics) in than anywhere local and is willing to order things for you. She recently moved and has a much larger store too.

Check my message a few up from here - I posted a list of all the Amish owned stamp stores and others in PA. Her information is on that. Bottom of page 1 I think.
I get to go again Friday and Saturday. I can't wait to see the new L&L store!!
Have fun!
I was just there yesterday to pick up some adhesive. She's low on copics and the newest nesties, but is expecting an order next week. She does have the copic refills in now though and lots of colors of kaiser pearls and rhinestones. She's also putting in an order for the newest cb folders that come out this summer - let's hope they don't go on backorder as long this time around.
I live in Pequea, PA and would be interested in stamp get-togethers, such as was mentioned earlier in this post. I frequent the Amish shops often, and I do realize how lucky I am to live so close to them. Pequea is just South of Lancaster. I do work part-time, but have some vacation time coming to me. The get-together that met on the Columbia Avenue last year (depending what part of Columbia Avenue it was) is very close to where I work.
Thanks so much. I'll be following this thread faithfully. Have a great summer, all!

I work with Melody Eberly of Purple Daisy Designs in Greencastle. She designs and produces her own line of rubber stamps. A catalogue is available to purchase with the stamps posted. I am new to splitcoast so I am not sure how much information to share. you may email me at [email protected] if you like. Good luck. You are in a very dense location for craft supplies
Hi Semarie! Yes, hubby and I have take a trip to Greencastle about twice a year to Purple Daisy Designs on the motorcycle. I love her 3-D art, and the large pictures she has hanging on the walls. I met her at Westmister, MD stamp convention about 4 years ago, and she used to send me cattys in the mail at the end of the year - I guess they were the ones she had left over.
Thanks for replying. We'll be planning a trip this summer, I'm sure. It's a nice ride! Take care,

I love her stamps! I just bought some from her this weekend. I wish she sold them online as well.
Rubber stamping must be the best kept secret in Pennsylvania. At least in the western part of the state. We have one stamp store and it is a nice store but quite over priced. I can usually purchase on the internet and with shipping pay less. When shows come to the area, the turnout is poor and then the shows don't come back again. I wonder what can be done about that? Any ideas?
I am in southwestern pa too and I know what you mean. I really try to support our local stamp store but I would visit and purchase more often if there were more up to date merchandise in the store. I don't mind paying a bit more for readily available merchandise but i want the most current trendy stuff (probably because I spend so much time here on SCS).
Just a reminder about Barbara's Stamping Delight's annual sale and benefit chicken BBQ on July 10 & 11. See the attached flier for more details. If you stop by, please say hi - I'll be working in the store both days helping Barbara.
I made my first trip to Lorene's (L & L Rubber Stamps). It's a fantastic store with great prices - I bought a bunch of nestabilities along with some other things I haven't been able to find locally.
She said that some people still have her old info. I know the PDF has been updated several posts above, but just wanted to remind people to download the new info.
Attached is her new business card.
We also stopped by Flower & Craft Warehouse. They have moved jewelry making stuff into the one end of the stamping/scrapbooking room so there's definitely less inventory. We were rather disappointed.

Can't wait to see L&L's new place!
The 1st time we found the F&C Warehouse I spent so much time in it I blew my husbands proposal plans and he ended up doing it right there in the parking lot. We go back for "nostalgia" (aka more shopping), but were really disappointed last year. Sounds like they have even less then last August when we were last there. :( Planing a trip again for this August, may just skip it all together.
I love going to L&L's. I have bought all my Nestablities there..may have to go sometime and look at the Copics. I love Copics. I live in Carlisle, where do you drive in there from?

After reading about L&L's on this forum, we decided to visit that store today, since we were going to Shady Maple for some grocery shopping. I'm from Gilbertsville, just outside of the Pottstown area. AM I EVER GLAD I DID!! This store is like a little gold mine tucked away in the quiet countryside! It's just PACKED with everything a stamper could ever possibly want! Stamps galore {including a whole line of House Mouse}, Nestabilities, Cuttlebug embossing folders, Tombows, Copics, ink pads, reinkers, flowers, embellishments, punches......oh my gosh, I've never seen so many items in one little store before and her prices definitely make the trip worthwhile! She also carries boxes of 100 envelopes and clear, resealable bags! She has packages of 80lb cut cardstock that you simply have to fold in half to make an A2 card. Thank you to everyone who posts about these great stores in PA - I can now highly recommend L&L to anyone visiting the area. If you're a serious cardmaker, you'll find everything you want here in this store. I was truly impressed and you will be too!

Just an FYI for those in the area....L & L is having make and takes tomorrow with the owner of Sweet 'n Sassy stamps. It's from 9 to 1, and she's also having stamps on sale to coordinate with the make and takes. Sounds like fun!
I'll be down for a shopping trip August 3rd & 4th (Mon & Tues) - if you hear that any of the stores will be closed for vacation, etc. will you kindly pass aloing the info? Thanks!!
Some of the stores in the area are participating in the Buggies and Bon Bons Shop Hop - A Lancaster County, PA Scrapbook & Rubber Stamp Store Shop Hop. It's taking place October 8-17, 2009, and there are 10 stores signed up to participate so far. Check out the website www.BuggiesandBonBonsShopHop.com
You can order the passports and key chains from any of the local stores or on-line. You'll just need to pick your "home" store. This is gonna be a lot of fun and a great way to save 15-20% at each store on your purchases during that time.
I'll be helping out at Barbara's on both Saturdays and possibly Columbus Day, so if you stop by during that time, say hi and introduce yourself. Let your friends know as well.
I'm taking a road trip the first week of August, leaving Saturday the 1st, and will be going through a good portion of PA so I'll definitely have to check some of these places out.
