I also love The Paper Tree in Manchester. She has tons of A Muse stamps and beautiful papers if you're a scrapbooker. AND she has a huge selection of COPICS!!
I also teach A Muse classes there, so I'm a little partial ;)
Michelle the owner is the best, and she'll order whatever A Muse stuff you might want if it's not in stock, and it comes very quickly!

Have you been to Color Creations in Hyannis, the Scrapbook Cupboard in Bridgewater or The Stamp Act in marshfield? - These are all great stores with fabulous classes if you're interested.

Where is the "Paper Tree". I live just South of Boston and there aren't any "stamp" stores on the South Shore just one Scrapbooking store. I've been to "Ink About It" once and it was absolutely amazing IMO with the variety of stamps. I've never been to "Absolutely Everything" do they have a good selection of stamps? Where else in the Boston area would you recommend I'm willing to travel within reason like maybe an hour?
I'm in Brookline and I go to Ab Everything all the time, mainly for their stamp selection. They have tons of stamps and I especially like the Memory Box and Amuse stamps. No Stamping Bella though and no House Mouse. They have so much stuff that I never leave without tons of stuff and new products I've never seen before (I think they had Glimmer Mist before anyone else). The newsletter is amazing and if you see something in there you want, you can call and have them hold it or even sent to you if you pay shipping. Classes are great too and they advertise samples in their newsletter so you can really see what you're getting into. Definitely worth the drive. I always go to the little family owned convenience store in the same plaza and it feels like I'm a kid on holiday all over again. If you're going up from Boston, I go through Saugus and stop at the DSW and sometimes even the HillTop for lunch. Make a day of it. Fun!
You should get a ticket to the shop hop. It is just $5 and you get 20% off a one time purchase at each store. I think AE has added some house mouse. The little cafe in their plaza is pretty good too, I have to bribe my little one with a visit there when we visit AE.

Hah, I always wonder about those other shops in the AE plaza! Now I'll have to stop in; Diana, when are we going??????? (although I spent too much (again) at The Papertree last night)! But I love the calendar we made Jen!

hey ladies! I too live in Billerica (right on the Bedford/Billerica line) - and I made my way over to Scrapbookers Dream today to buy my $5 hopper pass. I then went up to Absolutely Everything to check it out. LOTS of stuff. I love that they have Hero Arts stamps...and WOW what a selection of ink pads!!
next weekend I have a baby shower in Manchester, NH - so I plan on hitting up the Paper Tree :cool:
I LOVE both Absolutely Everything and Ink About It....can get lost for hours in both and always leave with oodles of new things! I also love the variety of classes that they both have. Haven't been to Scrapbookers Dream in a while ( no particular reason) but need to check out all of the new changes that seem to be going on. ( I too am in Wilmington! - small world!)
Already have my Shop Hop ticket and can't wait to use it! May have to drive a bit and check out some of the other shops!

I live in Northeastern Massachusetts on the coast on the MA/NH border. If anyone within easy commuting distance of me would like to join me for the mini "Crush" VSN next Saturday and/or for the two day VSN in Fenbruary, please PM me.
I have a huge and wonderful work space with lots of natural light and room enough to spread out. I thought it might be nice to have a few folks in to work together either on the VSN challenges if you wish or any other projects you have going. Let me know! Die hards who don't want to miss a single moment of the VSN are welcome to come and stay over. And if you plan to come for both days, you can leave your stuff set up.
For the VSN's, I can host a max of 6 friends -- that will give everyone their own banquet table to work on plus several banquet tables that will be set up for tools, toys (like a Cuttlebug, Cricut Expression, crimper, etc.), paper, cutters, stamping stuff, etc.
I thought Michelle at the Papertree said she was expecting an A Muse shipment Monday or Tuesday but I'm not sure if the new release was part of it. You could always call before making the trip.

Thanks Pia!! Hopefully they'll be there soon. I'm holding off on visiting some of the stores on my Shophopper Pass until I hear the new A Muse stamps are there (I want to take advantage of the 20% discount). My addiction now is A Muse and Copics.
There is also the Scrappin' Soul Sisters at 7 Perley Street in Concord, NH. They've been around almost 3 years and have some incredible papers.
My DD has what is called Intersession (a 3-day time period where the students can go or learn about a particular interest--some even go out of state) through school. She chose to do the scrapbooking intersession as she went to France in November. I just brought her in today so she could "scope it out" before her intersession when they go there.
I made a trip to Right at Home in North Attleboro. What a fantastic store - pretty big! I think scrappers would really love it there - tons and tons of papers and embellishments and tools. Lots of ribbon too which I love. Not as many stamps as I had hoped, but they do have the new CHF sets and a selection of clear stamps.
I bought the Shop Hop pass an so I will definitely be hitting some of the other stores -- would like to visit Scrapbookers Dream and go back to Absolutely Everything, which really does have absolutely everything
I loved Right At Home Scrapbooking also. I love how they had it decorated and set up. It's kind of far for me so I probably won't be there with my hop pass but I did go on a bus trip with my LSS where we visited a few stores. Would definately do that again
Also Scrapbooker's dream is having a huge sale where the entire store is 50% off so if you can get there soon I am not sure but I think it ends tomorrow (Sunday) There are a few restrictions but all the stamps are on sale as well as all paper but the bazzill cardstock. She will stamp the pass that you shopped there but the 50% off is better.
Just got back from Scrapbookers Dream (Tewksbury).....Laurie is getting ready for her visit to CHA....ALMOST EVERYTHING in her store is 50% off!...
designer paper, bling, flowers, stickers, QuickKutz, ribbon, rubons, Stamps, including Amuse,etc. etc etc Things not on sale = cardstock, glue, ink, buttons....but just about everything else...I made a killing and it made a killing on my budget...but so worth it......Oh Yeah, she gives a gift pack if you spend over $50....Good Luck to all that visit! Oh this is bad...I should never have started reading this thread! You ladies know where all the good stuff is! I used to visit Amandalinz every once in a while...now I'm going to have to find reasons to visit Manchester more often and some of these other places. thanks for all the info girls!!

Yes - same street - Route 102/Broadway about a half a block away on the opposite side of the street.

2 of the LSS newsletters have mentioned that Scrappbooker's Discount in Rhode Island will be closing in a few weeks....they will account for it accordingly on the Shop Hop passport. I'm not familiar with it....but sad now 2 stores are closing in a short period of time:(
