I also find it at Family Dollar & Dollar General for $1. I use it on my unmounted stamps to keep them on my acrylic block. ;) I like to be frugal.

I've tried what our $Tree has and HATE it!!!!! It doesn't stick well, it tears coming out of the dispenser....guess you get what you pay for!!! I LOVE the 3M Scotch double sided tape and occasionally can find it at a great price at WM. Let us know your experience.
I've tried it and it is hit-or-miss regarding quality. I have more consistent results with Rite-Aid's generic brand but sometimes the 3/4-inch width is too wide.
My favorite brands of 2-sided tape are Duck and 3M/Scotch. Whenever I am grocery shopping without DH, I throw a roll in the cart (helps my craft budget LOL).
I have wondered if these are available at places like The Home Depot and, if so, if the prices are worthwhile. Years ago, Home Depot had the best local prices for the foam mounting tape (3M/Scotch) but the roll was huge (and silly me didn't think - then - that I'd ever use so much foam tape.)
The Dollar Tree stores in my area used to carry the Scotch brand double stick tape but they haven't had them in a while. The only downside I saw was that the rolls were quite a bit smaller than the single rolls elsewhere. Regardless, if I see the Scotch brand tape again at Dollar Tree, I'll pick up several rolls.
Hi ladies. I bought the generic double stick at Walmart and hated it! Scotch is the best and sometimes I can find it fairly inexpensive but not for a buck! Yesterday I had a 50 percent off coupon for Michaels (came in my email) so I got a $3.99 mono refill for $2. I may be printing off more coupons!
At BJ's I bought an 8-pack of Scotch brand for $9.99. I use this almost exclusively on my cards. It's photo safe, too. This is a great price, since I saw the 2-pack refill at Staples on Saturday for the same price.
