The texture of this background is very cool, I have heard of this technique, but I have never seen how it looks. I think that having this cardstock embossed with a regular pattern like the polka dot really adds to the texture and makes it even more special. I want to try this!!! Sweet snowman image with tiny snowflakes. I like how you have matted it in black to really make this as well as the background colored layers really pop.
I think that you are very wise to start Christmas cards this early.
Favorited, I really like seeing something different, and this technique is really neat!

What a fabulous background, Janine! The look is rather blustery with the embossed Swiss dots which is perfect for this adorable little snowman! Thank you so much for your delightful sketch sample!
